This is what you're looking for to pair your FitBit with your laptop/desktop. In my case the new Ionic watch. Pretty ridiculous that FitBit doesn't include a dongle with your purchase, but pick this up and you'll be all set. No drivers necessary (on Windows 10 at least, surely Mac is same) - just plug into USB port, open Bluetooth settings and pair (my dongle was called "Fitbit Base Station"), open Fitbit App from Microsoft Store, and sync. Easy peasy.

AN essential piece of equipment as I still use the Fitbit Charger 2. I could only find it on Amamzon.

Recently changed to a new computer and misplaced the original Dongle for my Fitbit. The new one worked beautifully as soon as I plugged it in!

Unfortunately my fitbit did not come with the dongle to make it work with my computer so I ordered one from Amazon. Fixed the problem.

This works just as good as the original with my Alta HR. I'm glad I was able to find this, since I've had my Alta HR for a while and didn't want to have to replace it.

Looks and works like a dongle I once had that was packaged with a Surge. Now I have a new one working with the Windows app and an Ionic.

Be sure to read the details (ya have to click the Specs-read more) to find out it is limited to W7 and likely before. Note, Windows 8 was released in 2012. 2012!! I have only been able to make this sync intermittently. So if you have a computer that was purchased before the stone age, I would not recommend this product. The dongle in the Fitbit store says it has limitations, but is more up to date...I hope, just ordered it. I also find it ridiculous that this is not included, or at least an option with the device.

Never received a dongle with my Fitbit and was happy to learn that it was available for using the APP online with my home computer.
