I actually like this product because it doesn't have alot of extra ingredients in it. I give it to my dog because he takes so many meds I do it to help protect his liver. These are easy for him to get down. The capsules are like oblong gel caps and they are big but dont have any smell or taste (I tried one). I like the value for the price it's definitely worth the money and I would definitely recommend. I've actually been considering taking them myself.

The pills are easy to swallow. The quality is good. I take 2 a day, so they last me for 2 months. I notice a difference in how I feel. Great product.

Updating from 3 to 4 stars. While I’m not so sure it’s done anything to help lower his enzymes, I also know that it has not been the reason it went up. My pup was put on Ursodiol for gallbladder sludge the beginning of September. On 10/23, we re-did his labs and his ALT is back to normal and his ALP is down to 890- down from 1751 in August.Got this brand for my dog. My dog is 10 1/2 years old and has mast cell tumors (MCT), hip dysplasia and arthritis so naturally he’s been on NSAIDS for years resulting in elevated liver enzymes. I switched from another brand to this as recommended by the dog group for managing MCT I’m in. He’s also been on SAM-e prior. 2 months after switching to this brand and having his labs rechecked, his liver enzymes are way worse. (ALT went from 228 to 361 and ALP from 726 to 1740. 😳) I’m going back to our old brand, have his labs redone and maybe update the review based on those results. For now, I’m going to attribute the worsening ALT/ALP to this.

I've been using this brand for over a year. Its on the expensive side but seems to be good quality. Luckily I haven't had any problems with the pills getting stuck together like other reviewers.
