I've never had trouble creating a siphon with any Python product. I had another brand with one of those squeeze bulb starter things....which did not work worth a hoot.

Q: Is there any product like this to use for bathroom sinks? My aquarium is in my room where I have a small sink near by.

I recommend using this in your kitchen sink. It siphons qoter so quickly it could flood your bathroom sink depending on the size. The hose is very long, so you should use your kitchen sink.

Hmmm. Mine usually took like 30sec or so. Is the water on high? The faster the water coming out the better suction. My one sink doesn’t have the greatest pressure so I usually have to turn both hot & cold all the way. But in my other house when I hooked up to kitchen sink I didn’t have a problem. Hope that was helpful
