Goo size, easy controls, good toast.

Been looking for a simple "old-fashioned" toaster under $40 with no bells or whistles. Just wanted to toast a piece of bread or half a bagel in the morning, nothing more. Spent forever going through what Amazon had to offer and kept seeing photos of toast burnt on one side and untoasted on the other. Finally found what seemed a decent toaster, but it toasted like the others, so I promptly returned it. Started looking again and found this nice Hamilton Beach. It's perfect for me. Toasts perfectly, has a cancel button, a one slice button and one for bagels. It's nothing fancy to look at but it TOASTS PROPERLY! No issues so far, but I will update if I have any.

So it’s a toaster and it toasts what else can you say, but it is beautiful on your countertop

Toasts my bread without burning it, outside of toaster doesn't get hot and didn't cost a lot money. What else can I say.

I have several of these toasters that are used by guests at our vacation properties.

I liked the look of the toaster and that the settings were easy to see. It started out okay but then as most toasters I have had, started toasting lighter. But the top of the toast would be more toasted than the the bottom. I like the thin bread and maybe there are no toasters that can toast thin bread correctly. I have had a number of toasters and they all have the same problem. I am inclined to just go the store and buy the cheapest toaster I can find and forget about the quest for a toaster the toastes evenly and consistently.
