Product works as advertised
This product works exactly as advertised. I bought it to put on my new Masterbuilt propane smoker that did not come equipped with any door seals & these did the job perfectly. As others have stated in reviews, yes the paper backing can be troublesome to remove, but once it's off it sticks well & seals the smoker doors as it should.

A must for a leaky lid/door on your smoker

Alittle Thin but Does the Job
Alittle thin but works to create a good seal and the adhesive is quality, easily sticking to tough surfaces like my aged smoker. It performs well in sealing in heat and I’ve seen my temp for the trager become more stable.

Easy to apply, we'll see how it holds up
I have an Okie Joe Highland offset smoker that didn't come with seals and leaked smoke like crazy.I bought these seals forever ago, but haven't used my smoker since I bought them and didn't put them on until today.First off, I'm convinced that the reviewers here docking stars and complaining that the backing is almost impossible to get off simply have nails bitten to the quick and don't know a single woman (or manicured man 🤷🏼♀️) with even slightly longer nails they can ask to help. I have short-ish nails and had 0 issues getting the backing off, you just find a corner and gently use your nails to separate the adhesive and backing, like it's not hard lol.Honestly, the longest step was cleaning the edge I needed to stick the seal to bc I just re-seasoned it for storage two days ago. I may not have cleaned it well enough since the cut edges had a hard time sticking at first, but I'm hoping that the lid sitting closed for the next couple months is enough weight to form a strong bond.I did seal all four edges around the barrel, but I may end up needing to take the top strip off since the door sits higher now and may not be able to form a seal around the bottom edge, but I'll have to wait for my next smoke to determine that for sure. All in all, the seals seem handy. I want to attempt to seal the door on the smoke chamber, but until I know how well these seals hold up to heat, I'm gonna hold off.I was almost able to seal the entire barrel with one roll, but I ended up about a ½" too short and decided to just cut from the second roll to have a perfect fit.I'll update this review after my next smoke if I remember!

Gasket tape worked!
There was really good adhesion on this tape. I feel like it’s made out of really good quality. It was easy to install and use the overall performance was great.

It’s 2 short pieces, not a 15’ roll
Read the description good. This is two shorter rolls which sucks when you needed a 15’ piece.

The gaskets do what they're supposed to do.
I used the gaskets to seal up the cover on my Pit Boss pellet grill. I used some degreaser first to make sure the surface was clean. After that, it took about 10 minutes to put the gaskets on. You just peel the backing from the gasket and stick it where you want it. After putting it on I fired up the grill and gave it a test run. There is no smoke escaping around the cover, so the gasket does exactly what it's intended to do.
