This kit was good, I highly recommend it. The kit came with enough yarn and I had extra yarn left over. The latch hook tool was included but I didn’t use it because it wasn’t that good. My only complaint is the grid for the project is small but overall this was a fun project and it looks like the picture. Also, this project is more intermediate to advanced because it’s more time consuming.

Would have given this a 5 star but the reason I didn't is because the colors are off so it makes it a little hard to follow the micro mini chart .... if you wear glasses you will need them and a magnifying glass other than that, I hope it's pretty once I am done and not to distorted.

My Mom loves hummingbirds, so I got this kit and made it into a pillow for her Christmas gift. It is GORGEOUS! I've seen some reviews complaining that the print on the mesh grid wasn't dark enough, but that is ridiculous, because you don't go by that to make the design. The design and the colors are clearly shown and described in the enclosed instructions. They were very clear and easy to follow. My Mom loves it, and everyone who sees it raves about how pretty it is. I'm sorry I didn't take a photo of it before I mailed it to her to show how vibrant the colors are and how beautiful it is!

It was bigger than I thought when I ordered it, but I love it. It was a fun project to work on during group therapy, and the final result is beautiful.

Unfortunately, this latch hook kit had major problems.The stitching around the pre-printed canvas was not sewn correctly.Due to this, the canvas was on an angle which made it hard to follow and difficult to latch.All colored yarns were cheap. They had different sizes, thin/thick and unraveled when stitched.Poor quality!

My mom loved this. It was a pretty picture and it was easy for her to use and it came to a good size.

I got to about line 8 and found this kit has a missing color. On the grid there are letters for the colors, and letter S is missing and it’s a huge part of the rug. Also, there is a backing on it, so that makes a world of difference to those that need more freedom of movement with the tool. Also, the grid is different from the canvas and this rug says to follow the canvas instead of the grid, but they’re both different and the grid has me off on quite a few rows! The birds tail is off because the grid was typed wrong, and yes, I know, I’ve double and triple checked before I start a row and it still ended up off. But, for something to do, it’s fun and takes a lot of time so you’re not sitting Y gone bored…
