This is an absolute steal for the price. Its easily installable and looks great. We originally bought a ridiculously over-priced Simmons valve set and it cut our water pressure down so badly that we decided to try this. Its awesome! I will definitely recommend this to friends and anyone with water pressure issues. Thanks for a great product at such a fantastic price.UPDATE:Its been about 2 months since we have had this valve. It still works and looks great. The modern look is great and this valve is incredibly easy to use. It also cleans very easily with no streaks. I still give it 5 stars. Thanks again!

I'm going to give this five stars. It's simple. It's elegant. And it works. It comes boxed with no paperwork at all. No instructions, no warranty. It's not like you need instructions, because it's so simple. I don't care about the warranty, because it's 30-days, and this is Amazon, so you would get that anyway. And for thirty dollars, who cares. You get the valve with the chrome barrel that extends through the wall. You get the wall plate that slides over that barrel and has a snug rubber gasket. And you get the handle that slips over a square, nylon shaft and is secured with a Phillips set screw. It's not possible to put it together wrongly, so no instructions needed. I have it installed and tested, and it works smoothly and has about the right amount of movement, both in the volume (which is pull the handle up and down) and temperature (which is rotate the handle.. What's not to like for the price?

Awesome valve for the price. I'm a plumber Installing it tomorrow and yes KES resolved the issue of the valve not having mounting tabs. There are four on mine. Lock the decorative escutcheon plate to the finished wall with a bead of clear silicone ran around the back lip of the plate. Have some mineral spirits and paper towel ready because silicone caulk will seep out of the plate when pressing it onto the wall, and silicone caulk is super messy. The material cost to rough this valve in, and install a nice rainhead/handheld slide bar unit was less than $100!!!

My "professional" DIY husband assembled it and disassembled it multiple times. We tried Teflon tape, doubled the amount of tape, then 3 types of pipe joint compound and could not seal the connections. I liked the price but should have paid more attention to other reviews that reported the same problem. I contacted the vendor who says the threads are IPS, but other reviewers and my husband think they are non-tapered.

I had been looking for something reasonably priced for my outside shower. this valve works perfectly! Easy to install (see photo) and very smooth operation. Water temp adjustment seems just as precise as the $200 Moen in my bathroom shower.

My contractor commented on how great the fitting and simplicity of this was. I was surprised to hear that. For the price I fully expected him to make fun of me for cheaping out or force me to return it and buy a much more expensive one. I haven't actually turned it on yet so we'll see...

Seems to be a good economical valve. Only drawback is it doesn't come with any mounting hardware or mounting plate attached to the valve body. Makes for a little trickier install but you can't beat the price. I'll be curious to see how this valve stands up to the test of time.

Bought this shower handle to go with our bathroom remodel and it's great! Not only does it look modern, but it is also very sensitive and accurate to water temperature AND pressure! Highly recommend.
