These things actually work when walking on ice. For short distances. They seem to move to one side after a short distance. But they do make walking on ice easier.

Arrived next day and have been a godsend over the past few days. Good grip. The only thing I find is after wearing for a few minutes they start moving round and coming off the front of my shoes so I am constantly having to adjust them back on which is quite awkward to do.

These Rakaraka Ice Snow Grips were AMAZING! I am always scared of falling as a health issue means bones break easily and I hate snow and ice with a passion - but never again! Without ice grippers I would have been confined to inside the house, it’s always icy during winter especially in the morning and late evening where I live. They give so much confidence when the conditions are icy and remove the fear factor of falling over. I highly recommend them.Easy pull-on style, sturdy very good quality. The stretchy bands are really strong - thankfully - so wear with firm-ish upper to your shoe, rather than anything soft and squashy.In the past, I always had to stop to move or cross them as if I were walking on edges. But I tried them they are excellent and good price.Bonus: Spare studs/Grippers

Utter waste of money. My wife has just come in from half hour walk and several studs have disappeared or sheared off. In addition they did not provide the expected grip on ice or snow. At one point the whole thing fell off her boot. Very poor show. Complete waste of money.
