I’m a newbie to pickleball but loving learning to play with this paddle. It’s lightweight and doesn’t tire my arm , the handle is nice and grippy and just the right size for my smaller hand.The paddle even came with a cover and was bundled with a second paddle ( to introduce my husband to the sport).Great value for the price, I highly recommend this paddle.

One year update: best paddle under $50After playing this paddle and my other heavier and wider paddle for almost a year, this has became my preferred paddle. Especially for doubles games, I love the lighter weight and slightly more pop. The surface has some roughness which can generate some ok spin as well. After my skill improved, I can beat almost all top players in the club. My conclusion is this is a good enough paddle for beginners and intermediate players. My coach said it is the Indian not the arrow that makes the shot.Jan-1-2021 initial impressionsThis paddle is lightweight, 7.5 oz. Therefore it is quick and easy to swing. The graphite surface also has a good pop. However, because the body is narrow，it is very easy to miss hit. Due the light weight and power, I also find it to have less control, and hitting it out more often. Great beginners set, but I advice buying slightly heavier paddle like 8oz if you have played any paddle/racquet sports.

These Pickle ball paddles are perfect! They are light weight and easy to play with. I am just starting out with the sport and was told graphite paddles were the best. These paddles are exactly what I was looking for and are a good value for the money. I would highly recommend purchasing these!! I am very happy with them!!!

I’m no professional pickle ball player, but I’ve started playing once a week for a couple hours with a mix of others (some in the pickle ball club playing a lot and some like me) and it’s great fun. Pleased with the paddles and I’ve used them prob 10 times so far. Feel like these are great value. I do NOT recommend wooden paddles, even though they’re cheaper; much more difficult.
