Too hard to install.
Leave much to be desired. It doesn't fit well in its own cradle, so it isn't that tight against the processor. And the fan power cord is wayyy too long.

I got Apache III
The product naming is somewhat misleading as according to the Xigmatek website there are two variants:1. Apache II EP-CD9032. Apache III CD903I assumed that I will get 1. but instead I received 2.I could not actually identify the difference between the two, except maybe the height which should be 57 mm for the first, which made me worried, but again, I received the second which is only 52 mm high so it fit easily. All in all I'm very satisfied, it worked well, it could do the job by running faster and loudly to avoid overheating, but once I took care of proper airflow in the case it is running extremely silently. Installing was also easy on an AMD processor.

This thing BLOWS...quietly.
This thing is seriously quiet and does a great job of moving air. For this price, it is worth throwing in the mix. I have it attached to an AMD A10 and it runs cool.PROSCame with thermal compoundSuper quietEasy installation - Don't be afraid to really push downCONSThe fins came bent, but I probably have the UPS man to thank for that. (Minus 1 Star)

Don't be fooled with cheap price and fancy design
This review is from: Xigmatek Apache II CD903 CPU Cooler CAC-D91A0-U05 BlackPros: price, easy installation, neat color schemeCons: Worst cooler i've ever owned, did not cool my intel 2500k, even tho is stated it could at stock settings, at loads it reached 97c at idle 57c. installed properly, with artic silver thermal compound. will never cheap out again learned lesson.

Not much improvement over stock.
A bit tough to fit on what I would consider a fairly normal mATX motherboard layout and not a ton of improvement over stock cooling.

Way to hard to install
I work with computers daily and have never come into such an odd design for the mounting pegs, the instructions were so not helpful!

Awesome CPU Cooler
We actually own two of these. The first I bought about a year ago from a local retail store because my wife's CPU was running hot and the fan was rattling. After installing this product, it ran significantly cooler and is still very quiet. That led us to buy our second one on Amazon a few weeks ago to replace the noisy fan in our media pc. Again, the CPU runs much cooler than with the stock heatsink/fan and is very quiet. One thing to note this is a pretty wide heatsink dispersion and on our media pc I was worried it would run in to our RAM sticks, but it is tall enough before it gets wide that it barely clears the RAM. I will not be able to get the RAM stick out unless I remove this CPU cooler first. It's still a 5 star product because of how happy I am with the performance, but might be a deal breaker for others if you have a mATX board where there are components close to the CPU socket.

if you try to run this in ASUS cool and quiet mode
Lowered my idle CPU temp by about 5 degrees celsius. I haven't done any heavy load testing. This is quieter than the stock cpu fan that came with my AMD processor, but it's still not as quiet as the Xigmatek website advertised. Originally, I purchased this for an Intel 1150 socket cpu because it was listed as an Apache III which is compatible with the 1150, but they sent me the Apache II which isn't. So I just threw it in an old AMD build. Long story short, it's an upgrade for cooling and sound compared to the stock AMD cooler. The only problem is, if you try to run this in ASUS cool and quiet mode, the fan starts to let out a little whistling like interference noise because I don't think it's supposed to be run at anything but full power.
