much better, and twice the size of the cardboard deck boxes. lids are a little tight, but that's a good thing, makes certain no cards spill in travel. i can hold 2 60 card decks in just one of these if not using sleeves, that's 120 in one box, or about 80 w/sleeves. the extra box these 2 come in seems superfluous, but i've found use for it, holding basic land cards.

Very durable. Colorful artwork. The only thing that would make this product even better would be if they included matching card protectors as well. Thus the four versus five-star rating.

Although this was priced about right for two preconstructed decks there were absolutely no cards = it was just EMPTY BOXES of no use whatsoever to a magic the gathering player.

Arrived in original, unopened packaging before I had anticipated its arrival. The packing supplies were also above par for such a simple item.

The nephew really liked it. This stuff if so popular these days. No problems at all, everything was as expected.

The construction of the outer box is solid and snugly fits the inner two individual deck boxes. The two individual deck boxes will have a card divider which is somewhat funny, as these decks don't have sideboards. Some will have tokens, so it's valuable in those decks, but not all duel decks use tokens so it may just be a floating piece of plastic in your deck box. Not a bad thing, just not always necessary.My biggest complaint with the line of Ultra Pro Duel Deck boxes is the lack of sleeves. It just feels like with these deck boxes there should be associated sleeves for each deck. It would make the intrinsic value for these boxes skyrocket as you could buy your duel deck, buy the associated Ultra Pro Duel Deck Box and you'd have everything you need. As it is now, you have to buy two 50-count in two different colors (if you're like me and don't want the decks to be the same color) deck sleeves and have 80 extra sleeves left over in two different colors.Bottom Line: If you like the Duel Deck series, these boxes are a nice to have that make organizing and protecting your decks easy to do and neat to look at. Would be made better if it included the necessary sleeves for each deck.
