4 Stages of Heart Failure

This book is amazing. I am a recent PA school graduate starting a cardiology job so I bought this book to review HF prior to starting work. It covered nearly everything I learned in PA school about this specific topic (minus some pharmacology). I wouldnt buy this book if you dont have any medical background because it is not in layman's terms and assumes prior understanding of certain concepts but for anyone wanting an in depth review of EVIDENCE based HF treatments (epidemiology and pathophys) this is pure GOLD. If you're looking for an in depth review of all HF pharmacology or newer treatments tho, look elsewhere.

This is not for everyone but for professionals. This is well written book. Would recommend to all providers to extend their knowledge of HF.

I enjoyed learning the four stages and capabilities,of the treatment procedures of heart failure. This book provides a layman a comprehensive understanding of the disease and its treatment. This is best book I have read on the subject. To me, it was worth the purchase cost, and the book is a keeper.

Very informative and easy to understand in layman's term, even though book is essentially written for students in college learning about the 4 states of heart failure. Outlines each stage of heart failure, symptoms, what to expect, tests, and outlook.

Not read too much as yet, but so far helpful if you can understand terminology.

Based on the reviews I'm reading, Im 100% convinced this book is exactly what I need to manage my condition. (I just found out I have heart failure today, and this book seems like it will get me through the turbulant, unpredictable times). I may not have purchqsed this yet, but as a heart failure patient, I felt I had an interesting perspective to offer....
