CycleOps Trainer Skewer

Worked great in my CycleOps with a Electra Townie.

I bought this as an extra skewer for my CycleOps Fluid2 Trainer. I have a separate wheel set up for the trainer and have multiple bikes and I didn't want to remove the skewer from the trainer wheel each time that I just wanted a bike up on the trainer for maintenance; the trainer is great for holding a bike to do chain maintenance and bike adjustments. Theses skewers are meant to be more sturdy and shaped in such a way that they slide into the trainer and you're not concerned about them coming off or holding tight while you're on the bike; the skewers that come standard on my road bike wheels don't slide into the trainer and are not as heavy duty. This skewer though does not tighten on the wheel as smoothly as the original does however it does fit and works just like the original that came with the trainer.

I bought a used bike trainer from what I believe is a now discontinued brand - Cascade FLUIDPro - and it worked for that set up. Fit on my Raleigh Tamland. I'm sure these are universal and thats obvious to most, but I don't know, I'm a new bike owner and never used a bike trainer, so searched for others vouching for the compatibility and couldn't find it. SO here it is if you need it.

As advertised, delivered on time.

I bought this skewer for the rear wheel of my trainer road bike (2013 Diamondback Podium 1) for indoor training during winter season. The length of the skewer is slightly longer than the original and protrudes about 2-3 millimeter out the Nut end, but it doesn't interfere with the latching mechanism of the trainer. Quality wise, I've been training almost daily for a few months now and this skewer has held up so far. I can't speak on how it'll perform/last outdoors on the road since I only plan on using it indoors, which in my opinion is excellent for that purpose.

I bought this as a gift oddly enough. However I purchased one for myself eighteen months ago and it is still going strong on the road as well as the trainer. Very easy to install so long as one keeps the bicycle steady.

Having lost a previous one, buying again was a no brainer. First time use was for set up, but when I went to train it snapped in the first few minutes. Fail.

Came exactly as described

Given the turbo trainer but the spindle on my cannondale didn't fit. This did the job perfectly and I guess would for most bikes

After hundreds of kilometers put on my bike trainer I can happily say this product works as advertised.

Nice and quiet. A good fit. Runs smoothly
