Bad experience
the ink doesn't flow evenly, and i have to rewrite on the impression. never expected this bad from a parker pen. I own a vector standard and it glides on the paper, which is why, i brought an another one. This turned out to be a disappointment. Have requested for a replacement, so far not heard from them.

Good Entry level Pen for rough use
Short Review :This is a good entry level pen for rough use. It is made mostly of plastic and is lightweight. Grip section is made of metal without any grooves hence is slippery. I had some issue getting it to start writing. Not the smoothest nib. It includes 3 blue quink ink cartridges but DOES NOT INCLUDE CONVERTER.Detailed Review :(1) In-the box - It includes 1 Parker Vector Pen based on your colour choice(I ordered Orange) and a small pack of 3 Parker cartridges with Blue Ink (Parker Quink Blue ink). There was no converter in the package so you will have to buy it separately.(2) The Pen - The Pen is mostly made up of a plastic. Therefore it is prone up scratches so remember to keep it away from metal and sharp objects. The clip is made up of metal with the usual parker arrow shape. The end of the barrel is also made of metal. The grip section is made up of metal with no grooves or indents. It is this slippery and you might want to avoid this pen if you have sweaty hands. The cap is a clip on type, not the most secure clip and i believe that eventually with use it will become very very lose. So you might want to take that into consideration before buying. I estimate that you can use this pen for a good 6 months without having the cap fall off.(3)Writing experience - As it did not come with a converter, I manually emptied one of the cartridges and refilled it with Waterman Audacious Red ink by using a 2ml syringe. I initially had some trouble getting the pen to start writing and it was a bit on the drier side. I had to spread the tines a bit to get a good flow. If this is a general problem alot of people are facing then I do not recommend this for beginners as you may end up hating fountain pens. The nib wasn't the smoothest but with my experience of parker pens, I'd say it just needs to be seasoned. It should be smoother after some writing.Would i recommend this pen for beginners - Absolutely no. However if they are low on budget then I guess this is a good optionBuild - 2/5Writing - 3/5Value for money - 5/5Value as a gift to someone - 2/5

Parker's quality is deteriorating with time.
This is not really Parker. Luxor made Parkers were okay but its quality is deteriorating with time. Cheap plasticy. The steel parts feel light. There's no converter. The nib is so small and feeble that it feels like its made out of tin sheet and not steel. Overall, it feels cheap. The Parker Beta, made of plastic too but its probably sturdier and has a better grip.

Good buy at decent price
This pen is a good buy for the price. Following are the pros and consPros1. Decent pen at decent price2. Design is simple yet elegant3. Orange colour is unique than other regular colour like black an blue4. Writing experience is smooth. No ink flow issues. Glides smoothly over paper. Nib size is good to write on bad quality paper.Cons1. So far none. But plastic body of the pen is a bit delicate so might crack in future. But if you take care then I don't think it will be an issueOverall a good buy. Recommended as a starter pen
