Medium things come in small packages
I had a 10" sub die on me and replaced it with this 6" Energy sub with high hopes based on the reviews. It is definitely small, which was encouraging, as I had a spare compartment in my entertainment center that easily housed the sub. At the same time I was skeptical whether or not it would deliver. I set the crossover at 80Hz to match my surround system. After two days of use, it just didn't deliver the performance I was used to with the 10". I tried the sub in a few different locations, crossover levels, and gain levels (both on the sub and the receiver) but did not get the power I needed. This sub definitely sounds good when it is in the "sweet spot" of pumping out some of the higher low frequencies (i.e. bass guitar in music) but failed to impress on high-volume action sequences (explosions and such). I ended up shipping it back to Amazon and eating the shipping cost (about $13) and am going to try to repair the 10" sub I had before. My den is fairly open to adjacent rooms and is about 15'x17', so this sub may be perfect for a smaller room or an apartment, but it was not wall-shaking on level 1 by any means, and still was not eyebrow-raising at max level. All in all, it's good but not great. I liked the options (auto/manual on, gain, crossover, phase, inputs) on the back of the sub, but the sound quality just wasn't up to par.

Bad Product and Even Worse "Support" from Klipsch
I used the Klipsch Energy ESW-M6 800 Watt Mini Subwoofer in a spare bedroom for an occasional, gentle music background for house guests staying over. The subwoofer may have been used about 20 times in its lifetime, attached to Marantz amplifier and powered through a surge protector. Then it suddenly stopped powering on. After completing a warranty claim, Klipsch replied that they would fix it for... $310! I called Klipsch to ask if there are other options besides getting it repaired for more than its today's street price. A conversation was quickly ended by an arrogant Klipsch customer service. My further inquiry with Klipsch via their Facebook initially got traction and then Klipsch has gone silent and never followed through on the new offer to repair it at a lower cost. I would never buy a single item made by or sold by Klipsch. Klipsch does not stand by its products and is arrogant to after-sale customers.

Great little sub... Until it stops working
Really loved this tiny but mighty subwoofer. Looked cool and sounded good. That is until it suddenly stopped working. This happened at slightly less than 4 years of age. I expect more from a $300 sub manufactured by Klipsch.

Big things is small packages
I have had my Energy mini for about six months and love it. It adds a nice dimension to my TV sound system without taking up a lot of room. It doesn't overpower as well.

Nice bass addition to Bose cubes
Will this sub blow you out of your living room? <<Nope>> But is will add a nice helping of bass to your system. I was surprised by its size. Takes some adjustments to get the right mix. but it pulls it off nicely. Doesn't produce low lows, but it added a huge improvement to my Bose Acoustimass system which never gave me the bass I wanted or needed. I do love the fact that it is tiny and can be put anywhere almost hidden. Small foot print. Great looking (if you can find it) the finish is of beauty. I stronger suggest it if you need additional bass. If you looking to annoy your neighbors, probably won't happen. 4.5 Stars

Energy ESW-M6 800 Watt Mini Subwoofer
I used this sub for about one week, although it is a powerful sub, I could handle everything I threw at it, the sound quality was not that good. Although it has all the bells and whistles, its performance it another story. The bass was kind of muffled and not very deep, I am comparing this to its cousin, the ESW-8HG 8" 200 watt Take Classic Sub. Although the latter is rated at 200 watts compared to this one rated at 800 watts, this one has a little bit sharper bass but not boomy enough, in other words, it will not rock your room. I would recomend this sub for a small room or gaming experience but not for a movie experience. There is not much difference when comparing these both subs at full power.

Energy ESW M6 Mini Sub Woofer
The subwoofer was added to an existing system. It only seems to work for sound with the TV and DVD player. When setting the receiver to play music from a CD player or the OTA radio tuner the subwoofer exhibits a very loud humm as soon as the power switch is activated. I've tried changing to shielded cables and receiver / speaker settings to no avail. The manufactuer has been of no help. I will likely return this product - it is major disappointment.

Awesome subwoofer!
So I was looking for subwoofers, and I stumbled upon these at 50% off ($300), and I snatched them up immediately. I didn't kno what to expect from subwoofers this small, and when I say small, they are TINY. As a result, I didn't expect them to have very deep sound nor get very loud. Boy was I in for a surprise. These subbies go low enough for 90% of my music, and it's not a boomy or muddy low. The sound is very punchy and refined and they go crazy loud. I barely even set them at above 30% volume. These also go great paired with my desktop speakers. The subwoofer also looks great, it has a piano glossy black finish and is in a shape of cube. Very nice to look at. Overall, awesome subwoofers and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Highly recommended.
