These are wonderfully soft and well-made toys as I've come to expect from Pusheen and Gund. Velvety soft fur, things like markings carefully lined up, lovely both to display and to play with!The small box contains a fully sealed, opaque plastic bag so even peeking won't spoil the surprise! I got Pusheen-in-a-box and she's perfect. She connects to the box with velcro, so if you get multiple toys you can mix and match where they sit! The velcro is strong enough to connect her to the box from the top so she can sit on top of it as well, and I definitely wouldn't worry about losing any parts once she's snugged up tight in her box and worn on a backpack or bag. Even in heavy pedestrian traffic where I lose buttons and pins off my messenger bag, she is safe and secure!I especially love the tiny details like her tail curling around to allow her to fit in her box, or the box arrow marking being embroidered instead of just printed on. She's ready to be played with, is squishy and soft, and can be carried around in a pocket if you're having the kind of day where you need a little cat with you.These boxes are in line with the pricing of other Pusheen/Gund toys, which makes them a little more expensive than you might think (these blind boxes run $12-$15 in stores for a very tiny plush) but that works for me as it's very clear what size you are purchasing. As a collection they don't take up much space at all, and they're the perfect size for small hands to play with. She makes a great "pet" for larger stuffed animals or dolls, especially American Girl sized ones! My nieces and nephew love blind bags/boxes, the mystery and unwrapping often as exciting as the toy itself! It's not gendered either, all of the toys and packaging are neutral cats sitting in fun places (my nephew is as taken as my nieces are, and he's of an age where he buys very hard into "boy toy/girl toy" marketing).I would absolutely buy more of these and they also make excellent gifts for cat lovers and Pusheen fans.

I've now bought three of these adorable Places Cats Sit Gund Pusheen keychains, and I have to fight to keep from ordering more!I first picked one up as a little pick-me-up gift for my similarly cat-loving sister-in-law, and she got the shade-wearing, beach-blanket chilling kitty, and loved it. When I saw how cute hers was, I had to have one for myself, and lucked out with the exact one I wanted: the Chef's hat-wearing kitty sitting in the mixing bowl. The bead chain on mine kept coming apart, so I ended up just tossing it out after finding my beloved chef kitty sitting on the ground outside twice, and just looped my metal split ring on my keychain through the ribbon loop that these come with the bead chain strung through.I couldn't resist ordering another one of these, and while I was hoping for the kitty sitting in the shipping box (since I get SO many packages from Amazon, it would've been perfect for me), my next surprise box delivered me the kitty in the brown paper bag, which I find equally adorable and appropriate for my three boys' behavior anytime I return from a shopping trip.Honestly, I'll probably keep buying these until I get the kitty in the box, but since my birthday is in just a few days, I think I can justify that. They're so daggone cute, and a little thorough handwashing with some Dawn dish detergent restored my chef kitty to looking like new.Love, love, love these! SO cute!
