Delivers just 50% of rated capacity / No signs of protection circuit [Update: Corrected]
[Important Note on March 12, 2017]The Amazon product description and product images have been corrected. Now it shows accurate capacity rating of '800mAh' and no longer mentions "Integrated PCB protection". I have been calling out batteries with inflated capacity ratings for years, and this is the first time a vendor actually took corrective actions in response to my review. For that I have bumped the rating to 4-star.==== Original Review from Feb 8, 2017 follows ====I purchased this product (LiCB 14500 Li-ion batteries) because it advertises capacity of '1650mAh', which is very high for batteries this size. For comparison, most name-brand 14500 Li-ion batteries only claim 750-800mAh.The two batteries arrived with terminal voltage of 3.83V, which is a good sign. I fully recharged them overnight before testing.[Capacity]As part of my capacity measurement process, I connected a 5 ohm power resistor as load, and recorded the battery voltage and current over time. The output voltage dropped below 2.5V shortly after one hour. The actual capacities I measured were just 780mAh and 800mAh, respectively. See my uploaded chart for details. That means the average capacity is just 50% of advertised value.[Protection]The Amazon product page also claims "Integrated PCB protection (Helps prevent Anti-Overcharge, Anti-Overdischarge, Anti-Short Circuit). Over charge and discharge protection." However, I found no evidence that there is any over-discharge protection.During my capacity measurement, I left the load resistor connected after output voltage dropped to below 2V. I expect the output to cut off to prevent damage from over-discharge, but nothing happened. I watched as the voltage continued to drop below 0.6V, before manually removing the load to prevent further damage.[Bottom Line]The measured capacities of those LiCB 14500 Li-ion batteries are just around 50% of the advertised '1650mAh'. On the other hand, this is still better than results I got from other off-brand batteries, such as UltraFire '1200mAh' (measured just 300-400mAh) and ON THE WAY '2000mAh' (measured ~500mAh). That's why I'm being generous in giving this product a 2-star rating.[Update on Mar 5, 2017]I noticed that the title of this product has been changed to 'LiCB 14500 Battery 2 Pack 800mAh...' However the picture still shows '1650mAh'.

1100mAh at best
Terrible. There aren't 6800mAh, they're probably 1100mAh at best. We compared them to 2400mAh batteries which out-performed the so-called "6800mAh" batteries!

DO NOT BUY. These batteries are not really rated 6800mAh.
Terrible batteries. These batteries should be taken off of Amazon. These are just some generic terrible batteries wrapped in a 6800 mAh sleeve. i promptly returned these because I had nothing but problems when using these.

They're not even close to 6, 800 mAh. ...
They're not even close to 6,800 mAh. They discharge in less than half the time as EBL 3,000 mAh batteries. I went back to using EBL and never looked back. They also didn't fit well as they are slightly taller than other 18650 batteries.

Not as advertised. Not as labelled.
Are they batteries? Yes. Do they work? Yes. Do they work as advertised? No.18350 batteries do not exist in this capacity; they exist at half this capacity. I have noticed my purchased set are outperformed by a 700mAh Xtar set (not necessarily a recommend). These simply do not last as long as they should. Annoyed that I didn't research this myself before purchase. I am unhappy to find this and many "fire" (TangsFire, SureFire, Lingsfire, Demonfire) high output rechargeable batteries are of a fabricated capacity.

which charges everything else in lithium ion batteries just fine. No internal electrical connections to anything
Both batteries were dead on arrival: no charge, unable to get any charge into them using an intellicharger NEW14, which charges everything else in lithium ion batteries just fine. No internal electrical connections to anything! So much for the advertised "testing under strict quality control." The measured weight of these batteries is almost identical to that of units producing half the claimed output of these units. Although I cannot charge these units, it is unlikely that one will get twice the output from these cells. They are relatively expensive for 18650 batteries, but be wary of claims that seem to be to good to be true. They usually aren't. I recommend that you steer elswhere my friends!

Great Batteries
These are amazing 14500 batteries guys, thanks so much sellers! I use this for my LED flashlight (Jetbeam MK-1 mostly) and it definitely does make it brighter. These last a decent amount of time too. BUT, one thing that you really got to watch about this 14500 battery is that these ones are "FLAT TOP." They actually are TOO SHORT to work even in my Jetbeam MK-1 by itself, so I had to add a conductive spring thing on the "cathode positive" side of the battery to make it long enough to be able to complete the circuit and work! But yea, other than that, great batteries.Shipping was also great, arrived fast with no problems!
