The multi-pronged soap saver of the past really got pretty gross and the slime went beneath, too. These pads disperse and wick away the moisture rather than just letting it stand there. Eventually, the pad does fill up and you will need to clean it. And it will be easier to clean, too! Because plastic is such a problem, I've gone back to using bar soaps only and these pads are a big help!

This is the best soap holder I ever had in my long life. It keeps soap drying fast, no more slimy gelling on the bottom. Another important thing is that although the holder is flat with no elevated borders to keep soap from sliding off, soap stays in place not moving anywhere. I bought one of these soap holders a year ago and being so happy with it bought two more for myself. I am also going to buy many more to give as inexpensive but precious gifts to my friends and family.

I agree they do not stick, but I’m not too sure the soap stays that long, it’s does gets mushy like I want to take a milky bath. Overall it’s good product.

I ordered these to place in the shower under the bar soap, and they are just what I was looking for. The soap stays off the shower surface so that it doesn't create that slippery, slimy, gunk between the soap and the shelf. It also keeps the bar in place, so that it isn't sliding off the shelf. I don't know if the soap lasts any longer or not, but it does what I needed it to do!
