Converts polarized to non
Bought this for converting from a polarized to a non polarized plug for daisy chaining some holiday lights. It did the job perfectly, so I bought another one. Female polarized to male non polarized.

several uses
This plug seems to have (at least) two applications: The packaging says it both 1) converts a European two pin plug into a US non-grounded plug and 2) also converts a grounded US plug into a non-grounded US plug. When I first looked at the plug itself, before reading the packaging, I thought that I had order the wrong plug because you can see where the Euro plug pins go in. Fear not: Finally, I tried the US grounded plug (you might need to push it a bit harder than you expected), and it worked. Just what I needed.

but finding these is a huge pain. At least they work great!
