Great coffeemaker and compact too!
Second Update: who has time to update a review twice? Well I am just relaxing with a cup of coffee made in this brewer which is still working great after almost 3 years of daily use. I am thinking of ordering another one to keep as a spare in case the first one dies but it's still working like new. I am very pleased with this little machine. So compact and easy to use. Update: Used this coffeemaker every day for almost a year now. It's compact so we brought it on vacation also. Still EXTREMELY pleased with it. Works perfectly, never malfunctions and brews a great hot cup of coffee. We use Peet's Major Dickason blend with about 9oz. of water - excellent dark strong euro flavor. Bought this coffeemaker so my wife could make a single cup of coffee in the afternoons or evenings without having to make a larger pot with our regular coffeemaker. Wanted something compact to hide in kitchen cabinet or at least not take up much space on counter top. It does a great job, and she can pick from dozens of types and flavors. Works with any brand Kcup I think (she has used 3 different brands so far). It makes great tasting coffee, quite hot, and you can use any size cup or mug you want. A typical coffee mug holds about 10-12 ounces and is perfect size for this machine. You could easily fit a larger mug up to about 16 ounces. You simply pour a mugful of water into the top of the machine, drop in a Kcup, close the lid, place the mug in the machine and press the start button. The water heats up, the machine pumps it through the Kcup and into your mug, then shuts itself completely off. Total time about 3 minutes. So far very pleased. Hope it keeps working for years.

Nice single cup coffee maker
This is the very first single cup coffee maker I have ever owned. I've always used the 3 minute Bunn. However, my schedule has changed to where I make less coffee at home, in large quantities.. So I started reading reviews, like everyone does, on which unit to buy.. I didn't want to spend the money on the expensive models, and yet I didn't want something with a life of 1 month...I decided to give this model a try.. It was very straight forward to operate ( I'd never used one before ) . There are quick instructions on the lid, and it also comes with a paper manual.. I have used a few different K cups without any issues. You basically put in your K cup of your choice, fill it with water ( about a cup), and push the button.. The unit heats the water and automatically dispenses the coffee once it's ready to do so.. Then shuts off automatically.. I've been using it pretty much every day for two months with zero issues.. For $40.00 i am very happy with my purchase.. I hope i get many years of use out of it. The one thing you need to do, that sounds obvious, is to remember to put a cup under the unit before you start each time.. I forgot one of the first times and ended up with coffee all over my kitchen island.. Totally my fault and no reflection on the product... I did run white vinegar thru the unit prior to using it.. I did not experience any "plastic" taste as some other reviewers have stated.. I think it's a good idea to do it prior to using... I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone looking for a low cost one cup machine. UPDATE: July 21, 2019 - coffee maker is still going strong, after being used every day for approximately 9 months. Makes good coffee. Easy to use. I would recommend to anyone looking for a low priced 1 cup machine. UPDATE - Feb 2021 and it is still going strong !

Not a great brewer
So, there are three PROs for this brewer: 1) It makes your coffee FAST. 2) It's relatively easy to clean. 3) It's very easy to use. Now for the CONs: 1) Coffee isn't the hottest - after 10 minutes in a well-insulated mug it's already cooled down significantly. I drink my coffee over a 30-minute period, and I usually have to heat it up twice. 2) Coffee doesn't taste good. It's weak, and there are usually some grounds at the bottom of my cup. I think it brews it TOO fast, so the grounds aren't given enough time to steep. I'm using the same batch of K-cups from my last brewer (that died), so it's not the cups themselves. 3) Product is cheaply made. The plastic on this brewer is definitely of a much inferior quality to my last brewer (Sboly single-cup brewer, about $15 more than this one). It's thinner, and just doesn't feel like a quality product. It weighs *nothing*, like I can dangle it off of my index finger easier than one of my coffee mugs. 4) Not much room for a good-sized mug. I can't use any of my larger mugs in this - the largest that fits is a 12-oz. The platform the mug sits on is really high and the cup vessel is really low, so you've got only 5" for your mug. I usually brew 11 oz. and add creamer, so this is an issue. I brew it in my 12-oz mug, then have to pour it in another to add creamer so it doesn't overflow the mug when I tip it to drink. 5) They give you a rubber drip tray that sits on top of the platform but it's useless. It's pretty thick for starters, so I can't use it with the mug (because the mug won't fit) and it hardly holds any spill over (my last brewer held up to 6 oz) because it's pretty much solid with a few grooves. 6) It sounds like it's going to take off from my kitchen counter. It's pretty...forceful. And I think that's part of the reason I'm getting grounds in my coffee: it's trying to blast through so quickly to get you the coffee fast that it's just not brewing correctly and taking grounds along for the ride. Overall, I'm sorry I bought it as it was a waste of my money. It works, but not well. I've got coffee, but I don't enjoy drinking it. While it fits on my limited counter space, it doesn't fit most of my mugs. :(

I was tired of my Keurig Elite taking up huge swaths of counter space in the kitchen when it only got used two or three times a day. Enter a month-long search for a smaller model. This one was very small and came with decent reviews. After almost a month of using it, I'm pretty happy with it. I took it through the manual's recommended washing before first use and haven't gotten any kind of 'plastic' taste from it. It uses the reusable k-cup filters well, and is simple to use. The coffee or tea comes out hot enough for me and tastes as good as any other coffee machine. The downsides: you have to fill the resevoir every time you want a cup, and it uses all the water in it to make that cup. I keep a dedicated measuring cup next to it just for that purpose and it works well - coffee mugs aren't great at pouring neatly. It also takes around two minutes to heat up the water, so it's best to start it before you need the coffee. Other than that, I'm happy with it - it definitely takes up less counter space and I still get my coffee without much trouble.

This is the best little coffee pot I have ever owned. Quick and easy. I had owned several small Keurigs in the past and had problems with every one of them. This is all I will buy from now on.

I’ve only brewed a couple of cups but this is much smaller than the smallest Keurig & performs well for its price point. Fits in a small space in my RV 🙂
