Really impressed with this wax seal. It is so much better and more professional than using candle wax. We used it to seal the letters from Santa with a North Pole seal stamp and it did not go unnoticed by the kids when they opened their Santa cards on Christmas morning. The proper sealing wax melts smoothly, sets cleanly, and gives a crisp clear imprint without cracking or flaking. Candle wax can be messy and brittle but this feels sturdy and high quality with a lovely glossy finish.

Beautiful set, arrived in excellent condition everything neatly packaged (beads were in their compartments) and all in a resealable plastic bag. No instructions. Could be sent as a gift. See pics for details of packaging. Easy to use. The beads don’t look, feel or smell like wax. More like plastic, but they do the job and do it quite nicely! The little burner is nice but the black area heats up and could burn so be careful not to touch it and keep kids away. The plastic/wax takes quite some time to melt, I probably poured it a little prematurely as it didn’t pour clean out of the spoon and there was some left (which I used for a later melt). I was scared of overheating it but next time I will wait longer. I was expecting a few minutes for the 3 beads I added but 10 may have been better. The colours blend beautifully and you can create many different effects with the beads. The gold and silver markers also worked perfectly and were easy to use. There was some black residue on the underside of the spoon (are pic) which did wash off, although I couldn’t get the remainder of the plastic/wax from the inside of the spoon. I guess I will have to melt it off! It’s all a bit small small and fiddly - I had intended to have my 7 year old do it but ended up doing it myself as he watched. Be careful with kids, supervision would be needed. Overall a great product and I would recommend it to others. Just note that there are no blues (something I had not noticed when buying) but it is as per the picture.

Fabulous. Product is exactly as portrayed. I love the colors, it's very easy to use and maintain, and it's quite fun! Only small criticism is I wish the spoon was a bit bigger so I can fill it more with wax. But I can always just buy a bigger spoon. It's big enough for most seals. Highly recommend!

This is a nice little kit to start you off with wax sealing as a hobby, the only thing you really need to add is a stamp or two and something to press them on. I got this kit primarily for the little candle burner that you use to hold your spoon to melt the wax. Seeing as you get a couple of metallic marker pens, a spoon and a small box of wax beads it just provides a good deal (£16 full price but I got it discounted down to £13.50 and it is still showing it at the discounted price at the time of review). The wax melts well and has a nice consistency both when pouring but also once the stamp has hardened. I even managed to make a wax insert stamp using just the beads from the kit and it worked well (especially considering my skills in that area are very, very limited). The wax also holds the colour from the included markers nicely and once they have dried down the colour stays put. Nice little pack to either extend your supplies or get you started on the hobby.

It's a great kit that works perfectly. There's plenty of lovely colour options and the metallic pens really lift the seal design. It does not come with a wax seal stamp - I bought a few separately so I could have designs of my choosing. I have enjoyed sealing letters to family and they enjoyed the unique addition of a wax seal that you don't often seen these days.

I ordered these wax seal pellets to use along with another gift set I ordered. They work very well. The pens work well too and are easy to use. I'll practice a bit more, but this item is quite nice. I love the look of the mixed colors. I think 3 pellets is enough for a seal, but 4 for this beginner made it easier to get a full rim around the seal. Nice a full. I think this is a giftable item , if you add it with some other things to create your own combination set. 5 Stars, great value.

This is definitely closer to hot glue than to wax. It’s stringy like when you pull away from hot glue and it doesn’t “melt” off of the spoons it’s heated with so much as it just get hotter. It also smells exactly the same as hot glue that has gotten too hot. I’ve only tried a few colors since it is difficult to clean off of the heating spoon. It’s not the worst, it holds an impression and sticks, but it’s not something I would purchase again.

The case is small and about the size of my hand. It’s also quite flimsy and I can imagine it to break fast. It came with less than 232 pieces of wax beads , 208 to be exact. Haven’t used it yet to test the quality of the beads or markers so can’t speak of that just yet.
