German for Kids: First Readers Box Set – 10 Beginning Readers with Online Audio | Build Confidence with German Words (Ages 3-8) by Language Together Paperback – August 1, 2022

5 stars!! I absolutely love this, as does my 2 year old. We've read them regularly for months. Audio a fun bonus, when my kid is older I imagine they will love listening to it and reading independently. Eagerly awaiting next set to be available in German!

The first page behind the cover has columns of English & the German. So you know what everything means and then it goes into the German sentence and picture on each page. I have had my 6yr old and my 10yr learning and we go over the same books working on memorizing what is said and the meaning and I have them go over the inside of cover also to help with memory building. The media and text had variety and was great. I am waiting for a 2nd set to come out. I am hoping many more short sentences to build up the vocabulary. And maybe some workbooks to choose words from a list to complete list of sentences would be nice too in a next set.

The books are super fun and entertaining for kids. They both love trying to speak it on their own and then "check" it against the audio files to hear it spoken in a native tongue. They giggle hearing all the added filler sounds too. I really wish there was a 2nd volume!

We’d previously heard about this language program through a friend, since the founder / CEO happens to be a mom from our neighborhood, and finally got around to ordering. We were pleasantly surprised by how much our kids were immediately drawn into the combo of the books + audio download. They always complain about how they don’t really like Spanish class in school, so it was really fun to see them enjoying this program! I periodically travel to Germany for work, so it was fun to recognize some of the vocabulary words and even learn a few new ones. Very happy customers!

We read these everyday, my two and four year olds love the stories

My 8-year-old has immediately picked up these books and started reading them out loud. He’s so excited to learn German, and this series makes it easy and fun!

German for Kids is a fantastic introduction to the language. It is fun, easy to follow and interactive! Our family also bought Italian for Kids and we are very excited to start it!

Just opened this, and my 3 year old and 6 year old are already enjoying! The online audio is extremely helpful as German pronunciation is not intuitive for me. Love that I'm learning alongside my children. Excited to put our learning to use on an upcoming trip to Berlin!
