Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils Portrait Set Soft Core Adult Coloring 24 Pack

Prismacolor pencils are top-notch and these skin tones pencils don't disappoint. Im using them in adult coloring books. The tin they came in is a nice size and very sturdy. They sharpen nicely to a point and color smoothly.

Prismacolor is always a good choice. I gave it as a present por my mom for drawing portraits.

Have really enjoyed this set of portrait pencils. It makes it so much easier to choose the correct colors when coloring glesh tones. The lead is smooth and creamy, yhe colors are very good. Glad I made this purchase.

Prismacolor is by far my favorite pencil (so far) to use. Soft core allows for layering and blending plus I’ve never had a broken stick. Good value and assortments for all types of projects.

I love Prismacolor pencils and these are no exception. However, I find the portrait set lacks basic colors that are necessary for dark skin tone. I would like a few warm grey colors, a darker cool gray, and some olive and dusty violet/plum tones. These undertones are necessary for those skin tones to look dimensional. I would suggest that they swap out a few yellows and maybe a pink or two for this set to cover more skin tones and feel complete. I couldn’t have completed this portrait without those tones (which I happened to own). They blend and layer beautifully, so I highly recommend this set. Buyers should be aware that it may not meet all of their portrait drawing needs.

Best color pencils at the price point. Nice layering and bright clean colors . Excellent choice for artists that sell their work .

輸入品なので、ケースの凹み、色鉛筆の芯ではなく表面の割れがあるというレビューを多くみました。 事前にお店にメールして、状況を聞いたら、輸入した段階で検品して倉庫に保管してるとのこと、万が一商品に不備があった場合は、返品交換できますという事だったので、こちらで購入しました。 実際の品は、中の色鉛筆はキレイな状態でした。ケースは一部凹み1cm幅がありましたが、輸入品ですし許容範囲内かと思って、そのまま使ってます。 何店舗かで同じ商品扱われる際は出品者に問い合わせると良いですよ！ 発色は間違いなく良いです！！

Il mio ultimo hobby è colorare i libri da colorare per adulti, in particolare adoro i ritratti femminili e questo mi ha spinta ad acquistare queste matite colorate selezionate per ottenere qualsiasi tipo di tonalità della pelle. Le Prismacolor Premier sono tra le migliori e costose matite in commercio e adesso che le ho utilizzate capisco il perché di questa fama. I colori si miscelano perfettamente tra di loro e si possono sovrapporre diversi strati, per sfumare io utilizzo il colore bianco e il blender. Al termine del progetto passo con un pennello un velo di olio di lino che permette di ottenere, con questi colori, un effetto davvero spettacolare. Acquisterò anche un set più grande e completo di questo che comunque terrò esclusivamente per i ritratti. Le matite in questa confezione in particolare sono contenute in una custodia di latta molto carina, all'interno vi sono due scompartimenti e ogni matita ha il suo alloggiamento...in questo modo si evitano eventuali urti che potrebbero danneggiare le mine interne. Se siete amanti di arte, in particolare di colorare con i colori a matita i colouring books gli attrezzi giusti sono davvero importanti, questo set della Prismacolor è assolutamente da avere!

it’s a good product and a good colors

I have been doing art for over 50 years and I have experimented with numerous media. My favorite by far is Prismacolor Premier colored pencils. The cores are smooth and blend easily, and colors are rich and vibrant. I purchased the soft core portrait set and I love it. It contains all pencils to achieve any skin tone, from light to dark, from rosy to brown. A nice combination of yellows, oranges, pinks and browns to create a rich layered blend. I have been using Prismacolor colored pencils for over 30 years. I just completed my son's portrait using this kit, along with other Prismacolor Premier pencils. Best results on a toothy paper, thereby layering at least a dozen light layers to create a colorful blend. I just purchased another kit and more individual pencils to stock my inventory, as I have been inspired with this product to create more portraits of our friends and family. Highly recommend this superb quality product and brand!
