Really happy with this purcahse. I just spent 7 days with this in the north Georgia mountains. I slept under a tarp with this to keep the bugs off. There were a couple nights when biting black flies were swarming me, and this kept them at bay. Very easy to set up, very light, easy to pack up. I am very pleased. I will never tarp camp without it.A few important notes to keep in mind:1. The pegs it comes with are garbage. Make sure to bring four of your own.2. It only works correctly if it is hung from the right height. Since I was sleeping under a tarp, I found that extending my trekking poles to the maximum 54 inches before stringing up the tarp was the perfect height for the mosquito net. Any lower and it will sag and rest on your forehead or even your face.3. If you set up camp in grass, the grass will hold up the bottom of the net and prevent it from working properly. There was only one night that I camped in a grassy spot, and I got a few stray bugs: moths, beatles, and such. I had to put heavy objects on the fringe of the net to hold it close to the ground as the grass was keeping it up off the ground.

My 12 yr old son used this net on a week long summer camping trip. It worked very well.This net definitely kept the bulk of the bugs out and made his sleeping outside for a week much better.There are color coded loops on the 4 corners. The top 2 are 1 color and the bottom 2 are another color. This way you can set the net up quickly by finding the correct colored corner.The top loop is off center, so that the net is further away from your face/chest area. You don't want the net against your body because then the bugs will just bite you through the net.This netting is great if you're going to stake it in the ground, but my son's camp had wooden floors. He had to tuck the edges under his twin size air mattress. Tucking the net under would not have worked as well if he was only using a sleeping bag.

Bought “just in case” our camping trip was plagued with bugs. Turns out we didn’t use them.What I did like was that the construction seemed sturdy and it was able to fold up easily and pack back into the bag without a hassle. This also has the open bottom and I liked that style to put over a kid in a sleeping bag.Will definitely be using them at some point tho.

The sides were lower (shorter) than I expected so I did not fit perfectly into the net.. It felt uncomfortable but besides that, the net is good material and does its job,, well for the most part (because tiny flies could still fit through).

I bought this for a cruise on the Amazon river. The adjustable cord at the top made it easy to hang and the colored tabs were handy for getting it oriented on the bed. A cloud of mosquitoes followed me into my room on the first night so it got a good test. The net kept the mosquitoes away and gave me peace of mind to fall asleep quickly

Had a last minute camping trip and needed a net that could be easily used inside the jeep. No problem and perfectly comfortable. Not a single mosquito bite! That's magic in itself. Easy to set up, packs up into a little package.

I bought this bug net for my son, for scout camp. He hasn't gone yet, so my overall rating may change, but I like what I see. The net is very large, so it'll definitely cover his cot. The net is heavy duty with many net holes woven close together; Seems like it will definitely keep bugs from large to small out of his sleeping area. There is a ring at the top which can be connected to a ridge line or if used in a tent, can be hooked up to a lantern hook, which most modern tents have. The net also comes with ground spikes and some guy lines, all packaged in a compact stuff sack. I'll update the review once my son returns from camp.

We bought this product for its compact-ability and its light weight. Unfortunately, one of these were untrue. The bag was huge and could not fit in my hand. Even if my hand is small, it is still very big and there is no way it can fit in the palm of anyones hand. The bag was way oversized and it was overall very very disappointing. I would not recommend this to anyone.
