Learn German: A Comprehensive Guide to Learning German for Beginners, Including Grammar and 2500 Popular Phrases

The German learning books that I had read so far were exam centric i.e. too much focus on syntax and no enjoyment in learning. This one is different: it introduces you to the culture, thus giving a context, it is practical and real-life, but most of all it is in English which helps a new learner. A great book for anyone who is planning a trip to Germany.

I really loved this book. This is a very simplified form to read and learn. This is good and handy for anyone who wishes to refer, hold onto while travelling and beginners who actually want to know the language. I'd recommend these books to anyone who wants to learn German be it for any purpose. Big thumbs up for helping us! 👍

It's a good book for beginners to learn German/Deutsche but it doesn't explain the pronunciation of German letters or for words. It didn't match my expectations.

To start to know some basics, this is good.

This is very helpful book for learning German from beginners level. I have German friends, i always use to chat with them. Whatever phrases i have learn from this book, i always use in my daily life conversation. My German friends always appreciate my German.I recommend this book for everyone.

Starts off quite simple and increases the vocabulary slowly, reading the book has been difficult entertaining useful for German knowledge and quite helpful for improving listening and understanding spoken German.

Ohhh.... I wished i had this when i started learning deutsch by myself. I am in the first part and This book really covers the basic vocab and grammatical elements which are usually confusing in german language, like what should we add after the verb when we use I , she , we etc. Friends seriously if you know english and willing to learn german then give it a try. I'll write a review of my progress again when i finish this book.
