VERY STRONG
These are fantastic. The straps that came with our kayak rack were crap and would come loose during trips. These were recommended as being the best. And they are!! My kayak rack broke and fell to pieces during a 4 hour trip. The straps are what kept the kayak secured to the roof of the car! The straps did not fail when the roof rack did.

Top quality
Yes, these cost more than some no-name knockoffs. They are worth every penny. Easier to use than the cheap ones. And an added bonus, the length of the strap is printed repeatedly on the length of the strap - very handy when you own more than one length. I learned to buy these when river rafting (they are the gold standard among professionals), they are great for tying down loads on a trailer.

Love these.
I use for city trashcan. Strap around the cover to keep bear from having a meal and having to pick up garbage. The bear knocks gabage over but moves on to others. Great quality. Thick strap worth every penny.

Excellent product, worth the money.
I use these to tie my canoe to the top of my vehicle, and have used to tie down lumber. I was tired of fighting the cheep straps. I can strap and unstrap my canoe faster than anyone else in the group that use the cheaper straps. Also stay tight better on long drives. The rubber casing is great I have not seen any marks on my canoe from these. I appreciate the NRS lettering is only on one side of the strap so I can quickly tell if the strap is twisted when in an awkward position.

Durabability.
I was looking for an easier kayak tie-down than hooks and rachet. This was the perfect solution. I can secure my Kayaks in a fraction of the time. The straps work great, however, I found out four '6 shorter straps would have worked better than a couple of long '12 straps. So, I bought additional straps. I am all set for years to come. These straps are made of quality materials.

Bumpers are great
High quality straps. The bumpers are great for where you don’t want to mar up whatever you are securing.

Not as heavy-duty as Thule
These are lighter weight than I am used to...I can tell they will twist and possibly vibrate in the wind. I will keep them; they are surely better than some other ones rated for 550 lbs (these are 1500 lbs). I wish Amazon had a way of saying on the catalog how these compare to the industry standard, Thule.
