Sharp!!!
Bought as a birthday gift for the other half for camping trips etc. He loved it. It's decent quality and super sharp! When I say sharp I mean it had cut through it's plastic protective sheath and almost through the box when it arrived! Luckily it comes with a proper protective sheath as I managed to nick myself on it twice just looking at it!Has a pair of pliers and small knife which is also sharp! Not too big and heavy. Great little multi-use tool! Great price too!

Will buy again
Good piece of kit. Brilliant for wild camping and hiking due to light weight but could get better if you normal camping

For light use and little jobs brilliant, not for larger jobs (saw through log/cut larger wire)
Its a great 'survival/trravel' size for your grab bag. Not heavy. The pliers are good, probably the best thing on the kit accept the axe. The blade 2-3 inches straight blade, and 1-2 inch serrated apparently for 'sawing' but honestly you could not saw much with it at all - perhaps small branches (but you would snap those off anyway) or perhaps small ropes? The whistle is really terrible - seriously terrible. You can see even in the demo video on here - when the guy blows the whistle his face speaks volumes because it is so bad. It is dolls house size and pathetic. The magnesium flint is not much thicker than a matchstick and just as short - you shave it with the axe - so there is no shaver with it. It is tiny. So the 'screwdriver' - the three heads you get with them seem delicate and they sit in the hole via a magnet. not sure you could put too much pressure behind screwing before the head spins of falls off - but apparently if you open the pliers to a certain position it locks it in - couldn't work out how to do this - so perhaps it does 'lock' ? The axe is fantastic - really. If you need to cave out a soil/sand/rocky/ solid ground to create a dig out - this would do it - it has an straight edge for the most of it but just at the bottom is a tiny serrated edge to it - very useful for gripping and pulling down stuff. I'd say for light camping / light exploring this is value for money and would do the small jobs needed. But for long expeditions or deep off grid survival I cant see it being practically applicable. I would definitely buy it as a gift, I would definitely take it camping or have one handy in the car.
