There is a X part you put in and it does not hold up. My dogs are 15 to 24 pounds and it broke down in a week. Just using it with one dog laying in it.

Simple to put together and safely secure to the car! I have a 15lb dog and a brand new 4lb puppy. They both fit perfectly! I have a blanket in there for extra coziness. The ONLY thing I had to change was the restraint clips are a bit too heavy for the puppy, otherwise totally worth it and we got to pick a free prize that was delivered a couple weeks later!

Easy to put together. Sturdy but lightweight enough that I can easily move it from the backseat to my trunk as needed. My dog is 21 pounds and a mix breed, she’s smaller than a beagle and this seat suits her perfectly. She can turn around & lie down if she wants and it’s high enough for her to see out the window easily. Well worth the purchase!

Love this car seat!!! It's perfect for our 27 lb. dog. She has serious car anxiety and seems much happier now in her new seat -- it works great at containing her, is comfortable for her, and raises her up so she can see out the window. The first one we got had a ripped strap, but we returned for a replacement and it is great.

We have a 20 lb terrier and I bought the large. There was room for her to fully lie down comfortably, even though she really liked to hang her head off the edge and watch. The pockets on the front are handy for a collapsible water dish and poop bags. I found the seat to be study, well made, and easy to assemble. The seat was very secure and she was secure in it. We drove 6800 miles with no doggie complaints. Worth every penny.

This item is bigger than I thought it would be but I still like it. I have a 10lb dog and I could fit 2-3 of him in there. It also comes with no instructions which was very frustrating.
