The only negative thing is that in the double sided tape provided does not last. However, after replacing with a high quality 3M double adhesive, not issues at all.

I loved how quickly it arrived, the magnet is nice and strong for my big heavy phone, and it doesn't feel too uncomfortable having the metal plate on the back of my phone case like I was dreading. It is difficult to find a location to mount it but the big test will be if it stands up to the heat this summer or if that adhesive gives out. Don't let you phone touch anything when connected, if it bumps into your dash due to vibrations it will fall.

UPDATE: Unfortunately this did not hold up once the summer months came. The holder lost its ability to stay locked in its adjusted positions and ended up falling apart. This happened to both holders I purchased. Disappointed...Highly recommend this product! The mounting suction and overall functionality are exactly what I hoped for. The length of extension from the windshield is perfect—whether you have a short or long distance to reach. So pleased I bought a second one for my other vehicle. Absolutely perfect.

The ball joint connection is not sturdy and will move on it’s own no matter the configuration or how tight you screw it on. I’m very dissatisfied, I used to have this same exact model which was superior compared to this one. This one has a rubberized female ball connection and nothing on the male connection besides cheap plastic. The old one was rubberized on both sides of the connection giving it a sturdier grip. Stop cutting corners with your quality!!! Other than that the suction, magnet, and swivel arm work really great, just really disappointed that this one isn’t as sturdy as the last one I purchased a few years back.

Didn't stick anywhere no glue at all

I needed to mount my radar detector for occasional use on one our cars, and this mount made it easy. The SUCTION CUP worked well. The release lever is easy to get to when mounting or removing it. If the suction cup gets dirty, the instructions say use water to clean and let dry. It cannot mount directly to a glass back phone, you must use the included protective film, only one supplied, so attached carefully, you won't get a second chance to reposition it. The MAGNET that attaches to the phone/device and hold it to the mount is very strong. My radar detector never fell off or moved around. it did require a firm pull to remove it - which is fine.As is my complaint with many of these accessory items, the instructions are printed on the box and are printed in micro-print, requiring a magnifying glass or really good close focus eyesight to read the many instructions printed on the box.
