Alaska Guide Creations Kodiak CUB with MAX Pocket | Binocular Harness Chest Pack for Hiking and Hunting | Compact Utility Bag (Coyote Brown)

I did the normal progression from the neck strap supplied with the binocular, to the elastic chest rigs to a skeleton chest holders to what I should have gotten in the first place, the Alaskan Guide Kodiak CUB MAX binocular harness. I own a pair of Vortex 10x42 binos which I use for everything from sports, hikes, vacations to hunting and tried just about everything to keep them safe and accessible without success. After asking around, researching online and looking at the various offering at Cabela's and Sportsman's Warehouse, products by Alaska Guide Creations seemed to give me what I needed. I ordered their Kodiac CUB Max and received it in a couple of days. My initial inspection left me feeling this was a well thought out product with heavy construction, lots of storage, a very comfortable harness, an excellent bino attachment and suspension system and fit my Vortex binos like it was made for them. The Kodiak CUB Max hold my binos close to my chest, provides a fully enclosed compartment for them, a silent cover release and an external bino teather system which will retains my binos when I let them go. It also gave me enough external pockets to store a range finder, optics cleaning kit, headlamp with spare batteries, a compass, a couple energy bars and more. This is one well thought out piece of gear and, as a bonus, it's even made in the USA. I have dragged it over hill and dale, hunting, fishing in Alaska and more and it still looks great. Thinking about rubbing some more mud on it so it doesn't look so new, but have already done that, didn't work. Have had lots of folks ask me about it and several now sport Kodiaks in the field. I have worn a pack over it without an issue and have worn it over heavy clothes with adjustment straps to spare (I'm 6'4, 300 lbs). I now have a nice selection of unused bino straps which probably all-together cost twice what the Kodiak cost. Don't make my mistake, just get the Kodiak.

Fantastic pack has plenty of extra pocket so you don't have to keep everything in your pants pockets. I take this off at the end of the day and put it on in the morning and still have all my small accessories. Hugely adjustable fits my daughter and me at 6'5 250. These guys are making a great product with everything we're asking for in the field.

Perfect fit, light and comfy.very quite getting binos in and out , range pocket fits multi sized range finders. straps feel good under another pack , max pocket fits lots of stuff! Awesome bino harness

Just got this for my husband I did order the wrong color BUT he likes this color better! I tried cancelling the order but shipped to fast haha, the seller was great and willingly and ready to help me if I needed to send back. Looks very well made. Lots of pockets. It did have badges on it though. Doesn't bother him though.

Comfortable and very well made. I read reviews of it being bulky, but I have binos, range finder, gps, Delorme, knife, fire starter, compass and wind checker all inside! I can drop my main pack if need be and still have what I need to get around and get back to my pack. Definitely a game changer for me.

This will be my second bino harness from AGC. I would still have the first one if it hadn't been stolen along with my optics.

I have to say I thought $100 was a little steep for this item. Nope it’s worth every penny. Designed for hunters and is made VERY well. Buy it.

I bought this as a present for my boyfriend and he was over the moon with it! I bought the holder for his garmin as well. It fits nicely and is not bulky!

Extremely well designed and constructed. There are lots of pockets for range finders and accessories. The bino carrier harness is comfortable and holds my Swarovski 10x42 ELs perfectly. Nice to have a U.S. quality product at a fair price. Highly recommended.

Spacious ,durable, light and comfortable . Larger than some other harness packs but the additional space for rangefinder and other extras doesn’t make it bulky or cumbersome in any way .Actually thinks it’s the perfect compromise of space \size for a harness pack Offers easy,smooth ,quick access to Binos .5 Stars.
