My daughter was looking for a realistic fox fur tail for her Halloween costume. After looking at several online, we decided on this one due to color. Shipped quickly. Great quality. It is also very soft.

A little smaller than expected, however this has been a great tail. It separated from the clip once due to being stepped on during quads, but the fur did not come apart so it was an easy fix. Apart from the accident it's received heavy play, been sat on, used outside and widely enjoyed. Will buy Alpertie first next time.

Love this! Wish the keychain part was silver and not gold as I usually attach it on a silver belt but it’s so so cute and looks great for pictures.

My daughter has wanted a keychain tail for a while so for her birthday we chose this tail mainly because it's not real fur (it's faux fox fur so cruelty free!). We received the tail and the length and colors were perfect! Except it literally broke on the top within the first 5 min of receiving it which broke my daughters heart, so we had to return it and had them send a replacement which came literally the next day super fast shipping! This time the tail wasn't broken, but it wasn't near as long or thick and didn't have near as much white on the end as the first one. My daughter still loved it anyway so we kept it. Later that evening (yesterday) she was wearing it and there was a big wind storm. I took it off her and sat the tail down for a few min then came back and it was missing! We were at a public park so I am unsure if the wind took it or if or was stolen but we looked for over an hour without luck and again her heart was broken. So again we ordered another one for the third time and just received it in the mail. (That was yesterday about 6:00 pm that I re ordered the tail and it came by 2:00 pm today so super fast shipping again!) This tail has a little more white at the end then the one that got lost, but not near as much as the first one (the first two pics are both of the first one before it broke and a few min later after it broke, the second one got s Lost/stolen before we could take any pics and the last pic is of the third tail we now have). The first tail I took a picture right after I took the tail out of the package and then literally 5 min later not yanking or anything it just fell apart into two pieces. That was by far the best tail out of the 3 looks, length, and feel wise, but it broke within min without using any forse just fell apart. This last one is only about 14 inch long so not near as big but my daughter just wants her tail at this point so we will be keeping it as of now. Overall I would definitely purchase this tail again (obviously I did 3 times lol!) Definitely worth it for the price, fast shipping, and cruelty free product! This tail seems to be a lot more durable than the first:) After going thru three of these tails in 5 days here's my conclusion: Fastest shipping ever! Not from a fox farm so cruelty free! But each tail is different when it comes to size, fluffyness and durability. First one was a nice size, full, and perfect looks wise but broke instantly. The second wasn't near as long or thick and was taken or blown away by the wind. The third has a little more white at the end then the second but not even close to the thickness and length of the first

Not only was the wrong colour sent (I ordered the silver fox tail; grey with a white tip), but the tail was smaller than what was stated. Don't believe reviews saying this is faux fur, it's real fur, and clearly stated in the listing. The tail is pretty thin—they didn't even skin the fox properly, and it was clearly from a pup—an older fox would have an 18-inch tail at minimum. The fur was also visually unhealthy. I recommend buying a roadkill tail from a taxidermist if you want a shorter tail, not this. This clearly isn't an ethical or well-trained farm, and I had tried to cancel my order upon rechecking the listing. At the moment, it's been returned. The listing image is of an adult tail, over 20 inches, and properly skinned/possibly stuffed as well, unlike the actual item. While I had it, I didn't try fluffing it with a blow dryer, but I doubt it would do much other than damage it. It felt frail and according to some other reviews here, is. I'm surprised it wasn't snapped upon arrival.

It's fake fur, which is nice, it sheds easily too, but it does come in a bit deformed considering the small packaging. Worst part for me is the fact that the base is hot glue or some kind of plastic that makes it not very easy to wag nor bend. I snapped a bit of the end of and had to hot glue the piece bag to the tail. The clasp would probably break off easily with a good tug, so probably don't wear this out in public if you know people will be, in the nicest words, mean, and pull it. It would likely be easy to hot glue back into the clasp though, so, yeah. It's okay, I guess. The size is decent, it goes to my knee from my low hip, it's kind of thick, and it's somewhat soft, just clearly artificial. If you have issues with fur farms, then it should be fine. I only got the black one, so I can't talk for the others.

It’s ridiculously soft. The colors are really pretty in person. Decently sized for a backpack or if you want to wear it as part of a costume. The clip on key chain makes it easy and it stays in place.

Not good the second I got it. The clap broke off. It does not wag very well. There’s like a piece of wood in it. It is very dusty smelling it’s sheds. It’s not good quality. It’s not soft. It’s crusty and it’s real.

It’s so fluffy and pretty. a few furs fell off but still amazing, and very soft!

Purchased for cosplay - Soft to the touch, length was as advertised. Broke away from metal keychain connection but was fixable with some glue, hasn't come apart again.

the tail ripped off from when I tried to pull it out under something by it's keychain. I think it can most likely be put back on with hot glue, I haven't tried it yet but I think that'll fix it. nice colors and was very soft, almost couldn't stop petting it like a dog. I'm trying to get into different styles to express myself more and this really helped. I am not a therian, nor furry. just really like tails, they are really cool. I loved this!

Soft and beautiful. Bigger than expected

My daughter wanted this for dress up. Connects to belts and jean looks easily. Needs fluffing upon opening package. No scent which is good as some can have chemical smell. Decent length and fullness to it. Unfortunately it pops out of its connector piece easily as though it wasn’t glued well. So I’ve added a lot of glue inside the gold connector piece and placed it back in and now it’s fine again.
