I have never found a product that matches this quality and works better to provide a full, separated defined soft curl that lasts all day. I pair it with bioslilk serum first then layer this product on top and use a diffuser to dry.

Fantastic product! I have short curly bob and only use a half-pea sized amount. Hair is curly & soft. If I use more than mentioned amount - it feels like straw.

This is great for anyone who had curls and thought they lost them. And it’s great for people have curly hair. Define your curls.!

A little heavy on my hair.

Here is a description of my hair which hopefully helps. (Heads up to other reviewers: if you describe the hair care product but don’t provide a description of your hair, it’s not very helpful to others reading the review. We want to get a sense of how it will work for our type of hair.)I am in my 50s. I have very soft & very fine, porous, curly hair. 2c-3a. Mix of tight waves and ringlets. I keep it about chin to bottom of neck length. 50% grey but I color it regularly (salon, single process). I usually air dry, occasionally dry upside down with a diffuser if I’m trying to get more volume. It tends to go flat on top and straighter without wetting it & applying curl product on a daily basis.I have tried a gazillion products over the years and this is always the one I come back to. My curly cut stylists keep telling me to use mousse but it doesn’t do anything for me. They tell me cream is “too heavy” for my hair—but this works great for me. Soft & springy curls. Little to no “cast” to break up. Sometimes I use a little gel too to get more definition. Scent: To me, it’s sweet/fruity. I don’t love or hate it. To me the smell fades pretty quickly. I actually prefer a more fresh/floral/herbal/clean scent rather than sweet & fruity, but this is fine.(For reference: I HATE all strong scents or anything musky, woody, or “oriental” (it’s a perfume scent description, word, not mine).

A friend introduced me to this product and I was a bit skeptical. I must say. When my hair went gray in my early 50s it also became curly. I always had a hard time finding a product to hold in the curl that didn’t feel stiff or crunchy. Along came DevaCurl! This product is so easy to use and does a beautiful job. After washing your hair, you leave your hair, wet and do not cow dry. You take a small amount of the product in your hands rub your hands together flip your head over and start scrunch your curls while you’re in the shower. Try to let your hair dry as much as possible if you can, or you can use a diffuser to dry your hair. I do a little of both – – I air dry for a while, then finish it up with the diffuser. The curls look beautiful and sleek, and your hair is so soft and touchable. It’s like there’s no product in your hair at all if you are not able to wash your hair the next day, just wet your hands , and scrunch your hair to get your curls to go back into place. It may seem like a miracle, and it is. From now on, I will never use anything else for my curly hair. Try it – – you will not regret it!

For years I have been blowing my hair straight, only to walk out the door in Florida humidity and frizz right up. Well I cut my hair shorter and got the cream. Now I just go curly.

I’ve been using this product for over a decade as a staple item. I recently bought a new bottle and was allergic to it, had breathing issues immediately. They changed the fragrance and/or how some of other ingredients are sourced. It smelled less natural. I have a soy and coconut allergy, so if you have one of those I would be very careful. I tried to wash my hair a few times after that to get the scent out and it won’t go away. Still itchy too :(
