EZ to do, video inspired me to do myself
I just installed this on my 2012 F10 535i - it was very easy to do. The video was accurate, I recommend this replacement, works well.

Fits like a glove
Installed this as replacement for the one that came from the factory. I like it other than that it doesn’t always catch the closing part and you may have to push “gently” twice before it “catches” the locking mechanism.
