Q: Once installed, is there any rattling?

Not if you do it right..it takes about 1.5 hours to install ..get help too...my roof panels vibrate from music..but make sure you have your towing wiring harness done if you need it before or you"ll have to take it all out to run the wires ..thats if you want them run on the inside.

Q: Is it just removing the 2 top right and left panels to work with the hard top on or off?

It is secured in the back replacing the tie down hitches in the trunk with four brackets connected to the enclosure. The two side panels on top use the hard top mounting location to hold them down. You can just remove the hard top bolts as usual, and it will slip out from under the side panels. Then just put the two center hard top bolts back in place.

Q: How does this work with a soft top since the soft top drops down below the bed rails to lock into place?

It works with my bestop trektop ultra just lays down on it!

Q: Will this fit a 2021 JL 2dr with rear seat removed?

I would not think it would it using the mounting holes from the hard top
