This is a replacement case and button pad no electronics will be included such as the circuit board or battery. This is designed to be a fix only for broken casing or worn button pads. Simply remove the electronics from your original remote. Install the electronics into the new case. Snap the casing together once the electronics have been installed. Once you have sealed your new case with the electronics inside, test the remote on your vehicle. Uncut valet insert key included. This key will need to be cut from an original. Please make sure the part number from the original key matches one of the compatible part numbers listed. This is a replacement part that looks and functions like the original.

Perfect replacement - little work needed to get working out of old case
The case is a prefect match for the old worn out original fob. No need to spend almost $200 or more replacing the gob with a new one just because the case is worn nut still works. Took me no more than 10 minutes to replace the case. It required prying the old case open. First you need to remove the back. This is done by removing the back. There are YouTube videos that show how to do this. Easier to watch than explain.One thing I found easier for me after watching several if them was to take a large flathead screw to start opening a little crack, and a small one to shove into the crack and twist to open it further. I used the hole where the emergency key came out of as my starting point by pushing and twisting the large screw driver into it. As a small crack opened I worked the smaller thin screw driver into and opened the crack more. Pushed and twisted larger, worked the little one, repeat as necessary. Within 2 minutes I was able to crack it open.

Very good quality replacement shell for Toyota Prius key FOB
The Toyota key FOB shell arrived on schedule. I ordered a different shell before this one because the other one had the Toyota emblem like my original but the other shell was very cheap and the button fell off.I examined the product photos close for this shell and the quality looked better so I ordered this one from Discount Keyless.The shell is very durable and made with the same quality as the Toyota key FOB. This even has the metal inserts the machine screws thread into instead of larger screws that go into plastic like the other cheaply made shells. The only thing that would make this better would be a Toyota logo on the back but I am satisfied with the quality of this shell replacement.

Had an issue with no instructions in the package. using a pocket knife I separated the pieces and managed to insert the electronics in the new case. the buttons work well, the proximity works well, but it will not work when inserted in the dash. not sure why, I usually leave the keyfob in my pocket anyway.It will work for me.
