The BURCAM 401447PZ complete grinder pump kit is designed for residential sewage applications to eliminate solids up to 2” in diameter. The kit is easy to install and includes a 24 x 24-inch heavy duty polyethylene basin with top and bottom anti-float collars and non-corrosive cover that is recessed in to protect the lid and bolts during masonry work, a 1 HP submersible sewage grinder pump (model 400701P), a sewage check valve and aqua flex seals and gaskets. The sewage pump has a robust cast iron body, a clog-free vortex impeller combined with a grinder to shred solids and a 2” NPT discharge adaptor. Its 1 HP, 115V, 60 Hz oil-cooled motor includes automatic thermal and overload protection. The piggyback tethered float switch ensures automatic operation of the pump and requires a 20A breaker. The maximum head is 50 feet and the capacity is up to 2535 US GPH.
