Funny and original
Seen most of them before on TV, but worth seeing again. If watching for the first time, need to watch a few to get into the humour. One of the early episodes includes doctor's surgery which is hilarious. No canned laughter to spoil things either. Box set 1 to 10 would have been good and series 11 on the way just when you think it is all over. Just like a Netflix series!

Larry David is a total legend
Larry is the master of how to 'put your foot in it' or cause a scene in any given situation as he just refuses to let sleeping dogs lie. Watch out for the brilliant prolonged stare he gives if he suspects someone's not telling the truth and the classic, 'Stop and Chat' and 'Chat and Cut'. Totally original with a great supporting cast and a multitude of guest stars including Ricky Gervais, Michael J Fox and all. You really couldn't ask for more.

Grrrrrr!
I love him, I hate him, no, I love him, no I...oh god!Larry David is the kind of guy you'd love to smother in his sleep.At the heart of this comedy is pure slapstick. The set ups are easy and the traps are plainly marked 'Don't walk in' but off he goes, mouth flapping and all the wrong kind of words coming out.I was never a fan of Seinfeld but this show after initially ignoring it, really caught my imagination. It's life, plain and simple.I see people, including myself, walk into situations when they should know better or so you'd think.It's a great show if you are looking to wise up and not be a putz.I don't hate him, I love him for being so flawed because he makes me feel good about myself.Caution; this show may cause irritation.

What a show
I remember watching this ages ago thinking it was great - but after watching the first few seasons again I was like hmmm it’s not that funny. But then you get to like season 5 onwards and it’s absolutely brilliant - Larry David for the win!

The American Meldrew
Larry David co wrote Seinfeld and is a very funny man in his own right. He has a number of problems with modern life including dishonesty and his desire to ensure he is not being conned leads him into some hilarious situations. There are elements of Victor Meldrew about David but the comparison is not wholly accurate. Meldrew lived in modest surburbia and was an entirely fictional character. David plays himself but in fictional situations and lives a hollywood lifestyle. Various celebs pass through his life, notably Ted Danson.

Unique
from one of the creators of "Seinfeld", a gently humorous look at life through the eyes of a man who dares to think and even worse, say, what many of us secretly shy uncomfortably away from. And it must be said, also says and does things which would make must of us cringe. Often improvised, allegedly a caricature of the man himself, and it does seem that way. Very funny in parts, quite hard work to watch non-stop, episode after episode. In small chunks, delightful

At a point in lockdowni feel I have watched everything, getting 8 seasons at this price is great. Special features on each season too.

Un hombre que no se calla, que no teme el confrontamiento ni molestar a todos los idiotas de este mundo poniendo las verdades sobre la mesa? Un justiciero loco y encantador que en vez de acumular angustia existencial, procura moldear la vida a su favor? Un filósofo del día a día que disfruta por igual aleccionando que fastidiando? Un hombre libre, prisionero de sí mismo, pero con el salvoconducto de ser millonario y de no necesitar nada ni a nadie? Un Don Quijote judío que hace todo lo posible por no perder la cabeza ante tanta idiotez a su alrededor? Todo esto y mucho más!Un reparto graciosísimo, mil aventuras a pie de calle, la creatividad brillante de Larry David.No me canso de verla una y otra vez! Te ríes y te desahogas por igual!

Pretty, Pretty, Pretty, Pretty Good
Entweder man mag diese Art von Humor oder eben nicht. Ich finde Curb gehört zu den besten Comedy-Shows am Markt. Die Themen sind (meistens) realistisch und die Schauspieler liefern in jeder Folge ab. Okay, der Spaß ist keineswegs billig - ich habe das Box Set für knapp 50€ erworben. Man bekommt für das Geld aber wirklich gute Unterhaltung geboten.

Best gift ever
My dad came to visit from Germany and he speaks limited English, but we introduced him to CYE anyways and he thinks it's the funniest show under the moon. We got him this box set for Christmas and if I ever had doubts that I am his favorite child (which I never had) then this made sure I am #1 on the will for sure.
