These quality wooden lanterns are actually for my front covered porch I just happened to take photos of them during the decoration phase indoors. I am to waiting for different timer candles before putting out. I am obsessed with these rustic lanterns and planning to use year round .

I must say, I was very pleased with these lanterns. I was fortunate enough that they did not arrive broken as some other reviews had pointed out. I also did not put them outside as the wood is somewhat "fragile". They are attractive and go with a "Farmhouse Look" perfectly. The one thing I point out is be aware of the size of the lanterns. The larger of the two is quite large....actually if there were three lanterns which were progressive in size, the larger lantern would be the largest (of a group of 3) and the smaller would be the smallest (in a group of 3) and there would be a third lantern in between these two. I hope that makes sense. What I am trying to say is the large lantern is considerably larger than the smaller one. Not a problem for me as I have them in two different rooms but if I were to put them up on my bookcase I would have a problem with the difference in the size between the two. All in all, I would purchase these again (with my fingers crossed they did not get damaged in shipping). Not troubled by the price, as I have come to terms with the fact that price-wise costs of goods are going up faster than they once did. Have to readjust my perceptions accordingly.

I was a little concerned after reading the reviews about poor quality and shipping damages, but they were just what I was looking for, so I thought I would take a chance. I am glad I did!The quality is not the best but for lanterns that are not moved around and showcased around my fireplace, they are fantastic! They do not look cheap whatsoever! They were delivered with no damage at all.

First one I received was badly damaged. It clearly took a bad knock in shipping, and the top was bent. Seller was great (courteous and responsive!), and agreed to a refund so I returned item and reordered. Second one was wrapped perfectly, with many layers of protection (styrofoam, plastic, crushed paper, double-boxed), but still came damaged, with no apparently damage to shipping box. The wooden struts are very, very frail...ready to break with even the most minor contact. In my case, the nail securing this strut was a few millimeters from the edge...it never stood a chance. In any case, I decided to keep the second shipment because I love the look of it. I glued the strut back on myself. However, I strongly believe this is too fragile item to survive normal shipping processes. And, considering the price, simply not worth it.In my opinion, this item should be delisted.
