Shinwa H101-E 600 mm Rigid "Zero Glare" Metric Machinist Ruler/Rule Scale .5 mm & mm

I just got this today and have used it already. What do I like: The black ink etched rules and numbers are extremely easy to read. The stainless steel is thick enough to be very stiff. The coefficient of expansion for steel is roughly 1/3 x that of aluminum--temperature stable. Both edges have rule markings. The edges are square for consistent material marking. Perfect length for my shop use. Hole to hang in the workshop with the rest of my rulers. Quality design and quality construction. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Thick gauge stainless, deeply etched markings, back side has hundreds of Imperial fractions to mm conversions, and I've never had a quality ruler of this length. I'm very happy there are no inches on half of the ruler....search the history of "USA conversion to metric history" if you want to know how ridiculous our government in USA can be...

The markings are clear and the red is a nice touch! This is well worth the purchase, I still have mine but we do standard so I don’t use these that much. But when I did. It was like the knipex of rulers! Very nice material and isn’t rusted for how not often I’m not using them. But when I do they will be clutch! By far the easiest ruler to read for me

This is a well made ruler and it feels nice in the hand. As I have become older and skill levels have increased I find that using the metric system is easier for layout work. Using a ruler with both imperial and metric doesn't work well because you need to have the same marking on both edges. It never fails that the measurement you need to use is on the wrong edge. This ruler has deep enough marking so that divider points can seat properly. I'm going to glue cork to the backside of one of them to use as a cutting guide for sewing.

These Made in Japan roll engraved and permanent marked scales are accurate, sturdy and a good value. I have the 6”/150mm, 12”/300mm and the 600mm. All are a delight to use with good heft and excellent durability. Markings are crisply and accurately executed with dye in the engraving lasting and not wearing off. Primarily used as cutting and measuring guides for leather work, to prevent slipping, I added self adhesive textured rubber non-skid material to the least used side. These rules/scales have become indispensable when cutting leather.

I have these in 1000, 600, and 300 and I absolutely love them. Very accurate, very easy to read, rarely use a tape now.

High quality component. Wish I'd bought it sooner. Excellent ruler when you need something in MM. Very sturdy with a nice conversion table on the back . Well worth the price.

Excelente producto como todo lo de esta marca, es 100% original y como ven en el video la graduación es una obra de arte, está en mm, el grosor de la regla son 1.5mm de acero pero se siente sólida.
