Whirlpool W10298318RP Duet Maxima Stack Kit

Upon arrival, I found the pack to be missing one of the brackets. It is supposed to contain two metal brackets, one for each side of the dryer. I contacted Amazon.com and they shipped a replacement. The replacement also only had a single bracket. In the end I got the parts needed and stacked the dryer. I think whirlpool has a serious quality control issue on this product.Parts are 5 star.Functionality is 5 starQuality control on package is 3 star

Screw holes are not even close on the brackets. So they had to be re-drilled. Other than that pain-in-the-ass for my - exactly as advertised product- Whirlpool Duet- it works okay. Dryer still on top of washer. Sellers should really look this over again... extra holes maybe? Wasted a lot of this. Problem is, you don't know this until you've used the adhesive strips and already stacked them so even harder to try and return!!!

Returned this, as it did not come with the rubber strips shown in the product photo. Plus, I just took the time to build my own wood base platform to secure the dryer on top of the washer, then wrapped the entire package with a heavy duty ratchet strap. These units do not move around at all now.Wasn't really convinced about how secure the units would be from just two small brackets of metal attached to the back anyways.

It doesn't seem that this little bunch of hardware can hold a large dryer in place on top of a washer. I did not believe it would work until I installed the kit. I can happily attest that the washer and dryer have an unbelievably strong bond with the use of this kit. Recommend it highly!

Everything fit great. No issues with quality control or anything else. This stack kit is the exact same thing Lowe's or Home Depot will sell you at a much higher price. They more than likely will have to special order it (they both told me so), so you will receive this one before they get the special order to your house anyhow. Great product.

Wow...did the job we needed, but we had to drill new holes, as did not match up...though my hubby insists he matched the model numbers. A small hassle for an economic way to stack your units. We are happy with results.It helps to use rubberized padding between units for best stability

Great value. Given that this kit is a couple brackets, some screws and some foam strips, it should cost far less than mfg list and this purchase at this price is much more palatable.That said, only gave it 3 stars because the holes had to be re-drilled because they didn't line up on my model.

works.pros: it works.cons: it's just a two clips with some screws and rubber for scratching.pretty expensive for what it is, but what else can you do when you want to stack your washer and dryer.

Did what it was supposed to do. It allows me to secure my stacked whirlpool duet washer and dryer. It is 2 small brackets 4 screws and some foam tape. Probably $1 worth of material. The set should come with it. Feel a bit ripped off but I needed it so not much choice

After finally reorganizing the laundry room to set this evening to stack these, they don't even fit. I can't even replace these cause I'm passed the return policy window. Unfortunately it's my fault there, but when this is the one listed for my model, that's not on me.

Easy to install once you physically stack the machines. No vibration problems or worry of tipping, looks stable once installed.

Was just what I was looking for.
