I got this on a whim. It’s pretty easy to get started. I think with a tutorial or two to figure out when to use what tool, this kit will help you become a pro in your new hobby. The grip is good, and it’s comfortable to hold. The blades are still sharp after a good bit of use, so they’re pretty durable. And I’m sure they could be sharpened when needed

Does everything its supposed to, I like the variety in tools they seem good quality and fairly sharp for the price and quantity of tools. The cut glove combo is nice I've almost knicked myself multiple times but it helps protect my hand, gloves a little tight if you have large hands it may not fit comfortably.

Picked this up for my husband’s birthday! He was interested in getting to learn how to carve figurines and other woodworking things. This kit is perfect for beginners, comes with blocks of wood to practice, and has gloves that protect his fingers. Everything in this is perfect for someone just starting out. He opened it up and immediately got to work and has carved so many things with these tools! It’s definitely worth its value!

As an intermediate woodcarver, this set really checks all the boxes for me. The tools are very sharp right out of the box and hold their edge well. They feel solid and durable definitely built to last through regular use.The handles fit comfortably in the hand, which makes long carving sessions much easier. They function exactly as expected, with clean, precise cuts and no fuss.Whether you’re refining your skills or just want a dependable set, this one delivers. Great value and performance overall.

The knives are sharp out of the box and work as intended, at least on basswood. The chisels are not so good. Barely any edge on them so if you’re buying for them then you’ll need a way to sharpen them. The carrying pouch is also great. Considering that half of what you get are the poor quality chisels, I have to give this a 3/5 as it’s not usable out of the box. Otherwise it’s a great kit.
