Fits well

This is the second time we have purchased this watch band. The quality is really good. Watch is quite a few years old and still works great. Much better to replace the band every couple of years than to buy a new watch!

It's a perfect factory replacement watchband for the one I wore out on two deployments. It cost relatively little, much cheaper than a new watch, and it got here faster than estimated. Highly recommended. There are exactly two things that would have made me even happier with this purchase: an instruction sheet, and replacement hinge pins. Note you DO NOT have to take out the screws in the corners of the watch case to remove the old band or insert the new one; just insert the flat of a thin screwdriver blade between the band and the hinge and use it to compress the spring-loaded hinge pin; note that this can be accomplished because each hinge pin has a pair of concentric protrusions at each end, giving you something you can gain purchase on with the screwdriver blade. Once you've compressed the pin to the point that one end is free of its socket, wiggle it free of the case and pull the other end free of its socket and the band comes right off. You'll have to re-use your old hinge pins unless you find new ones somewhere else, so don't throw them away. Place a hinge pin through the channel at the end of one band, then hold the band level while you maneuver a pin-socket onto one end of the hinge pin (the channel in the bands are somewhat loose, and if tilted the pin will fall right out - unless you're lucky, you'll then need to get down on your hands and knees and look for it, which would be a real pain on shag carpet). I found it much easier to compress the hinge pin for re-insertion with my thumbnail; it kept skittering off my small screwdriver. Once compressed enough to be re-inserted in the case, seat the ends of the hinge pin in their sockets within the case and give them a bit of a tug to ensure they're properly seated.

The band seems nice good quality, but I have learn a lesson on buying watch band. Buy the band specific for the brand and model of you watch. I was trying to buy a band for a generic watch by looking at the images and measurements and i got it all wrong. Then proceded to shave corners to force it into shape and fail. I wasted my money, if your not sure you better off going to a watch repair shop. Even if you have to pay a bit more.

Just to let you all know. I need a replacement for my G-Shock. Did a search, found this, and I got an Amazon note that I actually purchased this before (which I hadn't remembered! LOL). It was in April 2015. So I already got this replacement band for my Casio. It lasted me 2 years and 10 months. Then cracked. I wear the watch literally 365 days a year. So whether you think that is good, or bad... you can expect to get about 3 years of life out of this replacement band. Looking back, I bought the watch in April 2010. So the original factory lasted 5 years. Hope this helps. :)

It was absolutely the right replacement band, but it was a beast getting the new band back in with the spring loaded pin. Hard to get both ends of the pin in at the same time. Should be simple, looks simple, but it was not. Would be nice if the band had one half of a millimeter more play in it to make it easier.

Perfect match for my old G-Shock that I gave to my kid.Pretty much identical to the original except the new one isn't broken :)

This is a geniune Casio watchband. It is an EXACT Casio replacement for the original watchband that was on my Casio G-Shock Model G2900F-1V, and I am very pleased with it.For whatever it is worth, I tried to install this watchband onto my watch and I quickly realized that I did not have the right tools. I took my G-Shock and the new watchband to a local jeweler, and he installed the watchband for just $3. It was the best $3 that I spent in a long time!
