I like this handle because you can wrap you hand firmly around both sides. My old hand only let you finger grip it, and when the door is old like mine it starts to stick sometimes. This handle has a good heft to it that lets you grasp it to open from either side. It fit perfectly in the holes already drilled from my last handle so it was super easy to replace. Its also real wood. I had to replace the inner locking mechanism as well which is not included.

This was bought to replace a used and corroded exact same model but in black. It was a perfect fit since it replaced the same exact one but I did notice some scratches on it and the lock is harder to press than my previous one and I don't know why. I like to two materials used because one it matches the door and the wood matches my floor. The install was simple and I did it with only a screwdriver in 10 minutes. Seems solid and I'm sure it will last me a while like my previous one

Installation needed two alterations.One, the outdoor side hole needed to be widened. So imperfectly drilled a little extra space around the hole. Perfect!Two, the screws come in 3 sizes, so you can select the size that fits your door. Very useful!

The door handle on our sliding door broke unexpectedly. We needed a new handle quickly. It was easy to install and works great for us.

Easy install, but not quality product.The top screw in the handle started to fall out about 8 months in and had to be retightened weekly. But the kicker was the bottom white part of the handle snapped when opening the door, resulting in the handle hanging by the loose top screw.

That was easy. I really wasn't expecting this handle replacement to be as simple as it was. My sliding door is 29 years old and the old hand was loose and the locking mechanism didn't work well. I was able to swap this handle out in about 5 minutes with only a screw driver. After replacing, I noticed the new back handle requires the mounting holes to be a little bigger than I had. I wasn't ready to drill the holes larger (I will in the future), so I just decided to use the old back-side handle with the new front-side handle. Initially I thought I had an issue because the screws were too long. But this wonderful product included 3 sets of screws and one of the sets was perfect. The locking latch works very well, it is a little tight when I tighten down the screws, but that may be due to me using the old back handle. I will be replacing with the new back handle soon since it looks nice and it counter-sinks into the screw holes. This is probably important to keep the handle from jiggling or coming loose so I will replace soon. But overall this was a simple replacement that looks great and works as I needed. One note: the handle color is not as red as the picture makes it seem. The wood is a light to mid tone color natural wood look

I picked up the Prime-Line C 1204 Sliding Glass Door Handle Set (White Diecast, Mortise/Hook Style) on Amazon to replace the handle on my patio sliding door, and while it’s the only one that fits my spacing due to extended door frame, the durability is seriously lacking.Installation was quick and easy—5 minutes with a screwdriver, and the included screws (three length options) worked perfectly for my 1.5” thick door. The wooden handle feels okay, and the white diecast grip looks clean, restoring smooth operation to my door. It’s a precise fit for my older door setup, which is why I keep buying it.The big downside? The cheap metal construction. After about 6 months of regular use, the screw holes wear out, the handle gets loose, and the diecast piece eventually snaps. This is my third purchase in a year and a half, and it’s frustrating to have no other options. For the price, it’s an affordable fix, but Prime-Line needs to step up with better materials. I’d jump at a sturdier version if they ever make one.If you’re stuck with a door like me, this handle will do the job—just don’t expect it to last. Worth grabbing on Amazon, but be ready to replace it
