Extech EX410-NIST Multimeter with Nist

Love this multimeter. Works well....easy to use. I trust it’s reading. Quality piece of equipment, whether I’m working on 240V or 110V.

Flaws:1) Changing a fuse requires removing 4 screws on the back and disassembling a daughter board which has the battery wire threaded through it.2) DC Voltage ranges are 200mV, 2V, 200V, and 500V. If you are measuring something between 2V and 200V you will only have a readout precision down to 0.1V. That's pretty good precision at 200V. But at 3V it's only 1 part in 30.3) The front of the package claims that this model has an internal temperature sensor. While many of the 400 series multimeters have internal temperature sensors, this one does not. The back of the package gets it right showing that you'd need the model 220 to get the internal sensor. It does come with a thermocouple probe.

For around $30 this is a excellent unit. I have a Fluke 177 I use mostly but I like having an extra. The display is nice and backlight is bright.It is a manual ranging unit so it can be alittle challenging to find the right settings at times, also the speaker on the diode test is just ok but does the job

I have found anything wrong with this Multimeter. But I did not use all the features.

I can get any of the DC functions to work. Purchased a while ago just took out of pack today and it doesn't read anything 12 volt. I even read the manual.. get what you pay for buy a fluke

I had one of these from my work so I just had to buy one for my own use. I am a network technician so I constantly use this to test voltages and continuity of signal. This has everything you need for a very decent price.

I wish I had looked closer at the specifications! There is no 20V (AC or DC) range on this "Professional" DMM. Pretty useless for most electronics work. I own several other Extech products that are great. This one is disappointing.

I had one at work and when I retired, I couldn't take it with me. :( The price on these has really dropped since I got the one for work 10+ years ago. I don't see why anyone would buy a cheap one when you can get an Extech for the same price. Maybe not this one but there are others to chose from.It could have included better leads. It only included a basic set. I bought another set of leads to use.

Niente da segnalare, magari non sarà così preciso come multimetri Fluke ma ha anche un altro prezzo. Misura tutto, comprese la capacità. Ottimo l'auto-spegnimento e utilissima l'illuminazione del display.
