Hot Sock Diffuser

Great for travel because they pack small. Hotels never has diffusers. Its a little slower than using a regular diffuser but not by much. It stays on most hairdryers but on some really small ones they fly off.

I usually let my curly hair air dry as much as possible, but sometimes when you're in a hurry you just have to diffuse, at least a little bit. This sock thing works pretty well. Pros: - Will fit on the end of ANY dryer (you never know what the hotel will have) - Cuts the airflow like a regular diffuser, while still allowing enough air to dry effectively - Does not get too hot or threaten to melt the dryer - Super light, squashes down to nothing, very convenient for travel Cons: - If you touch your hair with it, it WILL make it frizzy (the surface is rather fuzzy), so don't use your normal diffusing technique. Just hover diffuse. Overall, for the price and convenience, it's very effective.

This stayed on my hair dryer very well. I just don’t dry it very often. I mostly let it air dry. But for the price, it’s great.

I first bought it as a replacement for a travel diffuser as those take too much space in the suitcases, especially when you are trying to travel with just a carry on. Most hotels have a hair dryer but not diffuser attachments so I decided to see if I could use this to dry my curly wavy hair when I travel. As with most things, there is a bit of a learning curve involved if you are used to a bowl diffuser attachment. However, once you figure that out, it’s an amazing tool. Pros: 1. Travels light, easy to pack, saves space. 2. Fits on most hotel hair dryers. 3. Doesn’t slip or fall off. 4. Doesn’t get too hot to the touch. 5. Dries hair quickly and without any damage. Cons: 1. Won’t give tight curls. Curls are looser and wavier than what you get with a bowl diffuser attachment. I have found that the best way to use it is for me to tip my head upside down and just hover diffuse with this attachment on medium heat and medium speed. That gives me the best results without staticky or frizzy hair (ordinarily I can get away with low to medium heat and high speed when using a bowl disuser attachment, but with this sock high speed blows the hair a bit too much for my liking). Try not to let this touch your hair when you are drying as it will break up the curls and make them more frizzy. Just hover close and dry. Easy peasy.

I so wanted to like this product but it failed as a diffuser. I purchased it to give my hair lots of body but it left my hair uncurly and flat. I even turned my head upside down and tried it but it just didn't perform well.

Bought this for a recent trip and it works great! Usually I pack my dryer and diffuser but needed to save space. Will use this for travel from now on.

Our daughter has very curly, dry hair and hates having her hair dryed. But, it's currently FREEZING cold here at the moment so I can't let her run around with a wet head for hours while her hair drys. I hunted around for diffusers that would fit on any hairdryer and found lots of plastic ones with large feet that look just like an accident waiting to happen drying the hair of a wiggling 3 year old. This was a completely different style of product, it's a foam bag that fits over the nozzle of the hairdryer and diffuses the heat. She will sit still and let me use it to dry her hair because there's not hot air rushing in her face anymore, and her curls have come lovely. Such a simple idea, and so effective. It doesn't weigh down the hairdryer to make it hard to use, it will slip into any suitcase without taking up room or weight. I'm delighted with it.

Nada, absolutamente nada ...eso fue lo q obtuve de ese mal llamado difusor!! Además me costó tiempo y dinero se considero el tiempo que espere pacientemente que llegara y después los trámites de devolución.
