It's a different flavor...updated review.
Updated 12/7/2020 I used to have this on a monthly delivery plan but then it disappeared and became unavailable. When I saw this return I was excited. However, it is not the same product. The product is now overly sweet to the point that I barely want to finish it. The first time I mixed with plain oatmilk and frozen berries and it was too sweet. Then I tried with water and frozen berries and it was still too sweet. I will not be repurchasing. *****original review****** Great product and good value. I'd been using a different brand of plant-based protein powder for years. Decided to try this one as the price was lower and grams of protein higher. In fact, overall amino profile was higher. I like this a lot. It blends fairly well in my Vitamix but not as smooth as desired. Not overly sweet from my perspective.

Taste great
I have been taking protein powders my entire life. I switched from whey to this one because as I get older whey upsets my stomach. This protein powder is awesome. I put my scoop on a food scale to measure my servings I grams. The scoop is not a good measurement of how many grams u are getting. I was overconsuming the amount of protein I needed until I started weighing it. Saved me money too.

Quality protein
I’ve been using this protein off and on for over a decade and have always felt great when incorporating it in my diet. I now use it for my kids and feel good about the ingredients. I’ve always enjoyed the taste of both the chocolate and the vanilla.

Not a fan of the taste or texture. But I'll gladly accept both for the relatively healthful, economical, ethical protein
I'd been spending a fortune monthly on organic vegan protein powders, and would go through a greater-than-two-pound tub in under two weeks. So I wanted to see if I could save a few bucks by switching to a cheaper vegan powder. In case you'd like to compare your requirements with mine, I needed a supplement that's (1) vegan, (2) low in total fat, (3) low in total carbohydrate, (4) very low in sugar--preferably no added sugar at all, (5) free of preservatives, additives... Enter Veggie Elite. The cost per gram vegan protein is about the best I can find while still satisfying my listed needs. I wasn't prepared for the texture or taste, though. The texture, regardless the ratio of water to powder I use or how vigorously I mix the drink, is consistently gritty. On top of that, the stevia imparts what strikes me (as it always does with stevia) as an artificial sweetness. It reminds me of taking a mouthful of a diet soda--all of which I abhor for their cloying, "chemical" sweetness. I use 1.5 scoops twice a day. I haven't tried mixing this with anything other than water, but frankly I try to swallow it as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, there's always sludge left in the bottom of my mixing cup I have to reconstitute with water and swig down. I'll be buying this protein powder regularly so long as the price doesn't increase beyond what it is right now. This is at the limit of what I am willing to pay for a non-GMO, artificial additives-free, low calorie vegan protein powder. *********** UPDATE, 1st Month Using*********** I'd been mixing Elite one scoop (included) to 8 oz water in my normal hand shaken mixer. The shake's texture was unappealingly thick and chalky. A few days ago I got out an electric blender, added one scoop protein powder to 10 oz water and blended for about thirty seconds with about a cup of ice. This produced a richer whipped drink, airy like a thin fat-free yogurt. The flavor was very flat--but I'm using only water. Others may have better luck with another liquid. At least the ratio of one scoop to 10 oz water solved the texture problem. Another note. I find that even though I finish a shake in about five minutes, by the third minute or so the protein powder has settled out of the water and formed a thick sludge at the bottom of my mixing jar. I add about two more oz water to this to reconstitute and drink. So if you're looking for an economical vegan protein supplement and don't mind that you may not become a fan of the taste or texture (others here on Amazon rave about both), you'd be hard pressed to find a better product than Elite. I "say" this after many, many years trying a great variety of protein shake supplements.

Tasty and gets the job done!
I've tried both the vanilla and chocolate powders and enjoy both flavors. The texture is a bit chalky but not overwhelming. I prepare my protein with water or in a smoothie, and add ice. Tip: If drinking plain, start with 8oz of water and add more water according to your tastebuds. There were times I've used too much water and found myself having to guzzle down the shake because it was so bland. Also, not using enough water will make the shake more chalky and difficult to swallow. All in all this is a good quality product. It fulfills your nutritional needs and the price is definitely a plus. Hope this helps. Have a good day!

Best Protein Powder I’ve Ever Had!
I have been using this protein powder for a little over a year now. I put it in so many of my recipes I create & it tastes amazing! I have tried the vanilla bean, chocolate mocha & cinnamon bun & I LOVE every single flavor! All of the flavors taste like their name. The price is much better than other protein powder brands of this quality of ingredients. I have it nearly every morning in my oatmeal, coffee, smoothie, or just mixed with almond milk. It’s great pre workout to give you energy & post workout to help you recover! Not only are their products great, but their customer service is as well! They have reached out every time I post a recipe to instagram using their protein & always have kind words to say :) This is the only protein powder I buy! I hope that they come out with even more flavors in the future because their products are outstanding! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, you will never turn back!

Overly sweet and leaves an aftertaste.
I was trying to reorder the Veggie Meal Replacement shake. However the listing I reorder from was not available. I clicked on this one, believing it was the same based on the label. I didn't notice that it was labeled differently. I made a shake this morning and found it to be overly sweet and it leaves an aftertaste, in comparison to the meal replacement shake. I could not finish this. I added an image if the ingrediant differences in the two.

Best of the best protein supplement.
This is an excellent protein supplement for active humans like me that was recommended to me by my 57 yr. old son-in-law eye surgeon who has qualified for all the major marathons for decades.
