Works perfectly and protects investment.
The reason to not have metal on metal grinding are solid. This is a great solution. I have a Revgear 130lb double ended bag in my garage. The sling adds about 5" to the length of the hang. We'll see if they stretch over time. But even if they do, rather replace the sling than the bag when the D ring breaks. I'm very satisfied.
