Perfect for cookbook repair!
These are great rings. I used them to repair several of my Mom’s cookbooks- to replace the plastic spines. Yes, it takes a little work to get them open, but they are easy to close, and do not accidentally open. These were perfect for cookbook repair.

Great for repairing my old cook books with broken plastic spines.
Got these to replace the broken plastic spines of some older cookbooks. They work great in the old spine holes, and you can use only three like a three ring binder, or add extras. Colorful and look like they belong there. They close tightly in line as they should and stay closed, are vivid colors, and can be used for a variety of things. Easy to open, but not loose.

Great for organizing, bad for soft skin
I have a lot of loose cables, flash cards, and washers in the garage. I bought these rings to organize them. I felt very efficient. The Good: You get 50 of them. That is a lifetime supply. They come in metallic colors, which makes my sorted washers look festive. They hold tight. The Bad (Why 4 Stars): They feel light and cheap. They aren't heavy steel; they are light aluminum or tin. But the real issue is the sharp ends. The point where the ring opens has an edge sharp enough to shave with. I scratched my thumb trying to pry one open. It was a minor flesh wound, but I am a bleeder. Verdict: They work, but wear gloves or have Band-Aids ready.
