Q: Has anyone ordered replacement lids for these bottles? Like the idea, but seems the lids will eventually have issues and need replacement.

I haven't tried to order replacement lids, but had the same experience with the lids eventually not working. I switched to the other type of bottles with the cap and metal latches. Not sure what they're called. I haven't had any issues with those.

Q: Where are these bottles made?

There are glass. and seem to hold up well under pressure.

Q: Is thie lid strong enough to store fresh made sparkling water?

I would guess so. After I fill them with kombucha for the second fermentation, I screw them on very tightly to keep the fizz for another 5-7 days. The kombucha is quite fizzy. Great bottles and easy to clean!
