This bag is an incredible value. Everything is very solidly put-together. The leather is thick. As others have said, it does have an odor, but it isn't a chemical smell, it's just the scent of natural leather. Personally, I enjoy the scent, and it will diminish with time.The bag's size is such that I can have my large 5.5" screen phablet in the front pocket (it is snug height-wise, but has room to spare in width), and comfortably stow a thin notebook, pens, larger lipstick battery, phone charger, wallet, and keys in the main compartment. The leather construction is such that the main compartment could be stretched to hold quite a bit more if I didn't mind wedging stuff in and out.Some things you may not be able to tell from the description: The flap fastener is magnetic, not a mechanical snap. When I'm concerned about theft, I'll move my phone to the zipper pocket. The bag comes with loops to hang the bag from your belt, but it also has smaller loops directly on the bag back. The hanging loops are plenty spacious for even a very wide belt. The loops attached to the back are smaller, but my wide leather belt even fits through these, albeit snugly.I thought the price was too good to be true, but there really are no gotchas with this product. It would be $80 in any department store.

So, I have been looking for the perfect waist pouch for awhile. I have used any number of wristlets and others types of pouches to carry my cellphone, a little cash and pertinent cards in, but for whatever reason, these pouches do not hold up to the abuse I dish out to them as I go about my daily life. That being said, in many cases it is a matter of days before these pouches begin to tear out at the seams where the strap connects to the side of the wristlet or pouch; another problem I have is with the danger factor of these pouches and wristets as from the way they swing from where I connect them to my belt loop, they are constantly catching on gates, or arms of chairs (which could be one of the reasons why they tear out so soon). I have been looking at the Le'aokuu fanny messenger for awhile trying to decide if it could be the solution to my problems. I finally went for it, and I received the pouch today. Now, while I can't speak for the life-expectancy of this pack just yet, what I can say it that the leather is thick and the seams seem heavy duty. The best part about this pouch are the two leather straps that can be used to attach this little bag to one's belt. Because of the design, the bag sits closely against my hip instead of swinging wildly from a too-long loop as all the wristlets I have had have done. In addition, the position and design of the zipper makes it very easy to zip and unzip. So many of the pouches I have had have had zippers that stick so that I either can't get things out of the pouch in a timely manner, or I struggle with putting them away. From what I can tell at this early stage, this is the pouch I have been looking for. If that proves to not be the case in a few weeks or months, I will update this review.

Overall a great bag. Gorgeous when oiled. However, the rivets are not secure, and two of them have popped out with little use, leaving me to think up alternative hardware.

I carry this perfect-size bag everyday. I have a collection of bags and this is my everyday favorite.

I didn't end up using this for some months after purchasing because I had others I loved and this wasn't the right size I wanted. When I did end up using it, it stained my clothes yellow and on the second day the buttons on the back of it completely broke off. The bottom of it also showed serious wearing. All I had done was walking and sitting. Very poor quality definitely cannot recommend.

This is a generic rustic look product. No brand, Good for iPhone 8 Plus with case.There are 3 ways to carry this: belt, long over shoulder strap, hang. Phone and passport are safe because of zipper. I can put medicines in the small compartment. I bought this for walking around towns and hoping it will be easier to get in and out cruise ship.If you want something rustic, don’t expect fine product. This leather will scratch easily and I expect it to happenThere’s no bad leather smell. For now, it seems strong enough; the stitches look nice and tidy.

The bag looks like the pictures and arrived in 2 days as promised. I used it to carry my instax camera and a few essentials. The only problem for me is that one of the zipper pulls is missing, it wasn’t in the bag, so I’ll have to attach something in it’s place. The pocket is difficult to use otherwise, which is a bummer as it’s one of the more useful front pockets. I’d give more stars if the pull wasn’t missing.

I really love this bag. Perfect size. Perfect color….I ordered a brown one.But when it arrived….and I strung it across my body….the bag practically hung in my arm pit. The strap was too short. So I tried to return it and then got a message from the seller asking me to send the length of strap I needed and they would make it and send the longer strap for free. Wow! That is what I call exceptional service! The longer strap arrived and now I get complements on the bag almost every time I wear it. I love this bag….and I would do biz with this company again any day. I just might order another bag….in black.
